After an hour of driving, we finally reached the driveway of our new house. Mum never showed me what it looked like on her phone so I was excited. Mum and Phil got out the car so I tried dragging my dead legs behind them. We walked up to the plain white door, unlocked it, and walked inside with our bags. We dragged the bags down the hallway into the kitchen, where boxes and other belongings were spread.

"Hun, do you want me to show your room?" Mum asks, putting her handbag on the bench. I nod and follow her down another hallway, with three doors. She stops in front of the last door, she points to it and smiles. I smile back, walking over to it, she walks off and open the door. I walk in and see a queen size bed, much bigger than my old one, with a black and white tie dyed cover. I have a window diagonally above my bedhead. Against one of the four walls is a tall, thin chest of drawers, with a few things on top. Nothing was in it because there was still boxes on the wooden floor. There was a glass bedside table with a golden lamp, and a small clock. Under the glass top, a few centimetres off the floor, has a PowerPoint. So I put my carry on bag on my bed, pulled out my phone, earphones and my phone charger. I figured since it was late I could just unpack tomorrow. I find a box of clothes and pull out a pair of plaid pyjamas. I change into them and put my dirty clothes in the box. My stomach growls and I remember that I haven't ate since this morning. I walk down the hall to the open space and find the kitchen.

"I'm going to bed hun, goodnight," mum smiles and gives me a quick hug.

"Goodnight, when do I start school?" I ask, remembering tomorrow is Monday. "Oh, it starts tomorrow, it's up to you if you're ready to go though," she smiles. She walks into the hallway and I continue what I was doing. I find that the cupboard has a few things inside, which makes sense because nothing's in a fridge that hasn't been plugged in/wired to anything. So I grab a bag of chips and an apple and head back to my room. I go on my phone and set and alarm for six. I know nothing about this school and I don't want to be late on the first day. I crawl into bed, with my food, and scroll through my Instagram feed. My account was on public, because I don't really post a lot about me so it didn't matter. The only photo I have of me is a selfie (the one above), the rest is basically photography.

Halfway through the chips and a finished apple, my phone dies. I put it on charge and put the chips away, it was hard finding my way through the dark house, but I got there. I found the bathroom, it was one of the rooms near mine. I put my toiletries in here earlier so I decided to brush my teeth.

I finally lay in bed, with nothing else to do, and fall asleep. Scared and excited for what tomorrow has to come.

»Next Day«
The sound of my alarm rang through my ears, causing me to wake up suddenly. I worm my way to where my phone is and swiped so it would turn off. I laid there staring at the roof, I wonder if I'll see that guy today..

I stretch as I get out of bed, not being bothered to make it. I walk to the bathroom and unpack my toiletry bag, holding my face supplies. I spread the first mask on my face, for clear skin, and walk out to the kitchen to find mum.

"What's on your face?" She laughs. "It's for acne," I explain. "Oh yeah, what are you doing up so early?" She questions, taking a sip of her coffee.
"I want to make a good first impression, as well as get to school on time," I slightly laugh. She nods in an understanding way. "Oh and this school is free dress," she winks. "Yay!" I cheer. I run back to the bathroom and wash the face mask off, adding another cream that just soaks in. I sprint to my room and poor the box of clothes I have onto my unmade bed.

I sigh, knowing this will take a while. I find a red button up flannel, and some ripped jean shorts, as well as a small crop top underneath. I grab black undergarments and walk to the bathroom. I do what I have to and jump in the shower. My usual routine is; get in, wash hair, wash body, shave legs, shave armpits, get out. It takes a long time, but I try to speed through it. Once I'm out I get changed, blow dry my hair and leave it down. My hair has always been naturally wavy so I just accepted it. I slip on some black vans and run to my room, I already have school supplies so I was good to go. I carried them in a black leather bag, it was pretty small. I snatched my phone from the bedside table and went to the kitchen to eat breakfast. I have a bowl of yogurt with some other fruits chopped up with it and finished it in about five minutes.

I brushed my teeth and completely forgot which box I packed my makeup in, so I am screwed. I ignored it and mum called me saying we're leaving. I shoved my phone and earphones in my bag and raced out the door.
