I wake up to my earphone falling out, I flutter my eyes open and realise Aaron's head is still on my shoulder. My earphone has fallen on the floor so I try to think of a way to pick it up. I couldn't move or his head would move and wake him up. He was sleeping so peacefully so I tried my best not to. I try to use my foot but my shoulders move, I then decided I can't move. But I am hungry, I look at my bag and remember I brought a container with grapes, my favourite. I use my left hand to pick it up and figure out that I can't unzip it. "I'm sorry," I whisper as I lift his head. He slightly smiles and leans back into his chair. I unzip my bag and get out my grapes, and pick up the earphone. The other one was still in his ear surprisingly. I listen to what song was playing and silently laughed. It was an "inappropriate" song, I changed it and Aaron mumbled something.
"What?" I look at him. "Why did you change it?" He rubs his eyes and opens them. "I'd rather not listen to a song like that with a stranger," I sarcastically answer. I throw a grape in my mouth and Aaron sits up. "Let's not be strangers then," he smiles. How could I say no to his smile? "Okay fine," I turn my body to face him. "What do you wanna know?" I ask.
"Hmm, why are you going to Louisiana?" He questions. "I'm moving, dad got a job there," I look down. "What's wrong?" He notices my mood. I shrug. "Not ready for a new school and stuff." He nods and asks, "what school are you going to?" I look up and think about it for a second. "Uhm I think it's called Bolton High School," I shrug. "Oh cool, me too," he smiles softly. "Wait, really?!" I reply, slouching in my chair because I was too loud. "Yeah," he chuckles. "That's cool, do you live in Louisiana?" I ask. "Yeah actually," he smiles. "Why did you catch a plane back?" I tilt my head. "I was travelling with my friends," he pointed to the guys that filled the back of the planes. "Oh, that sounds fun, I've never travelled," I slightly laugh. "It is, maybe one day you could come," he looks down and smiles. I nod before answering "that sounds cool," I smile. "But I'd have to meet them first," I nudge his shoulder. "Right, of course," he laughs. He turns and sees that they're all asleep. "Maybe when they wake up," he looks back at me. "Yeah," I laugh. "So, Hailey, what's your favourite colour?" I point to my shoes. "Mint green?" He asks and I nod. "What's yours?" I sit back up. "Probably blue," he shrugs, "it changes too much." I eat another grape and he steals one. "Hey!" I smack his hand, causing him to drop it. "Please, just one," he begs. I hesitate but put the container in the middle. "Thank you," he cheekily smiles and takes one. "I'm guessing grapes are your favourite?" He laughs. "Yup!" I say eating another one. "I like chicken," he takes another grape. We look at each other and laugh. "I'm scared to see how crazy you can get," I laugh. "Hey, I bet you're crazy too," he glares at me and smiles.

"Ten minutes until landing, please make sure all you valuables are with you and that you have all your items.""Naw, I don't want to leave yet," he whines. "What, why?" I laugh. "Because I don't want to leave you," he smiles at me, I feel butterflies in my stomach. "Yeah, neither do I," I quickly say. "What? Leave yourself?" He jokes. "You know what I mean," I roll my eyes. I put everything in my bag and put my phone in my pocket. "Should I wake them?" He asks me referring to his friends. "Yeah," I nod and he gets up. He leaves his phone on the seat and I think about spamming his camera roll. I look up and see him at the very back so I grab it and turn his phone on silent. I swipe to the camera and start taking photos. I continue tapping the button and taking photos of random things and one silly one of me. I hear him start walking back so I turn it off and switch it back to not on silent. I throw it onto his chair and I look out the window.
"You look so suspicious," he squints his eyes. "Me?" I put my hand on my chest as if I were offended. "Yes, you," he laughs and sits down. He puts his phone in his pocket and I laugh. "What?" He looks at me weirdly. "Nothing," I hide a smile. I go onto snapchat and load my filters. I use the flower crown one and hold it where I thought he couldn't see. As I'm about to take the photo he pokes his head in and it actually goes on it in time. "Hey that doesn't look too bad," he laughs. "Yeah you like fine, but my face," I cringe. "Don't say that," he says sounding annoyed. "What?" I look at him.
"When girls say that they look bad and stuff, when they are the ones who look the best. I just don't get it," he rolls his eyes.
"So your mad that I said I looked bad?"
"No. Yes. I don't know, but you definitely don't look bad," he looks at me. I hand him my phone. "Caption it," he takes it and I look out the window. He hands me my phone and I read the caption. "Best plane flight with future best friend ;)" I look at him and smile.
"Please make sure your seatbelt is fasten as we land, thank you."
The plane goes down and I watch out the window and smile. "It's pretty, hey?" He asks. I nod and continue to watch. I hear people talking behind and I see a tanned guy with brown hair looking at me. I turn back around and look back out the window. We reach the floor and I feel my ears pop. I hold my ears and look at Aaron.
"My ears just popped," I scrunch my face. He laughs before answering. "Me too, I hate it." I hold my nose and try to breathe through it, to pop my ears again. "What are you doing?" He looks at me with a confused look. "Popping my ears back to normal," I laugh. I try again and it works. "That's better," I look at Aaron and laugh. "How did that work?" His jaw drops. I grab his hand and put it on his big nose. His fingers squish each nostril. "Close your mouth and pretend you're blowing your nose." He does what I say and looks at me in shock. "Did it work?" I laugh. "Uhm yez," he smiled. "Are you here by yourself?" Aaron asks. I shake my head. "No, my parents are on here somewhere," I sigh.
"All passenger please grab all your belongings and exit this plane. Hope you enjoyed this flight!"
"I know I did," he laughs. I laugh with him and pull my arms through the straps of the bag. I hold my phone and wait for Aaron to stand up. He stands and passes me his phone, which is opened on contacts. I raise my eyebrow and he laughs. "Put your number in, silly." I mentally face-palm and type in my number. I pass his phone back and he smiles. We walk out the plane, following his friends. We walk down this hallway into another airport. "I guess this is it," he shrugs, standing a little taller than me. "I guess it is," I smile. "I'll text you," he starts walking back. "Bye!" I wave and try to find my parents. Where could they be? Two short adults aren't that hard to find. I text them where I'm waiting and not long after I find them. We walk outside the building and call a cab. I can't wait to see the house.
