Chapter 5

Taurus was furious.

No matter how badly he wanted to, he restrained himself from socking Leo right in the face.

"Ok then..." Gemini said. "Who's next?"
Cancer perked up, eager to ease the tension in the room, "I'll go!"

Leo got a devious look on his face. "Alright," he said, "Truth or dare?" Virgo, who had noticed Taurus's anger, shot Leo a glare. "Haven't you done enough?" He said. Leo glared back at him, but went on with his scheme.

Cancer made her choice, pretty much oblivious to the growing annoyance between the three other zodiacs. "Truth!" She responded.

Leo grinned. "What is your favorite thing about me?" Virgo wanted to start yelling. "Man, really? Are you that much of a narcissist?" Leo turned and snapped at Virgo, "Just mind your own business and this will be a lot more fun for all of us, Virgo."

Cancer was thinking over her answer. Although calm on the exterior her mind was racing. 'What could I possibly say? Leo... Leo... he's... a jerk! A misogynistic, womanizing, jerk!!! My favorite thing about him!?'

Finally Cancer responded, "Your, um... taste in jewelry...?" She motioned towards a gold chain that Leo always wore around his neck.

Leo looked disappointed, while Virgo was just resisting the urge to laugh in his face. Virgo, who knew Cancer much better than Leo did, had seen her struggling to come up with a single decent quality in her mind.

Virgo felt like he was on a roll, and he wasn't ready to stop. He jumped up and yelled, "Hey I have a good dare for Capricorn! Can I go please?" Pisces looked at him in with raised eyebrows, "Yes!" She responded before anyone could interject, then hesitated, "as long as it's ok with you Cap." Capricorn nodded, "It's alright with me!"

Virgo grinned. "Ok, Capricorn, I dare you to let Taurus kiss you!" Capricorn raised an eyebrow. "Well, this seems oddly suspicious, but a dare is a dare," she responded.

Taurus stared at Virgo as if he had been betrayed, but he just sat there, perfectly content with himself. Virgo knew that Taurus would never make a first move himself, he was too scared of ruining their friendship. As for Capricorn, she was a very practical woman, which was beneficial... most of the time. When it came to romance, that quality was a severe detriment, as the sheer amount of risks that came with confessing her feelings would always cause Capricorn to back out at the last minute. These two were doomed without Virgo.

"Ha, ha! Alright then... ha..." Capricorn said awkwardly. Virgo smiled. Capricorn always laughed when she was nervous. She definitely liked Taurus back. She didn't even act like this after Leo kissed her.

Taurus awkwardly made his way over after being shoved off the couch by Pisces, who was giggling like a mad woman.

"Well..uhh..." he said leaning towards Capricorn. He got closer and closer to her face until soon the gap was closed between them.

Over on the couch sat Pisces, quietly cheering Taurus on. A few seconds later Taurus and Capricorn pull apart and Taurus swiftly walked out of the room. There sat Capricorn, light blush dusted on her cheeks, bewildered.

Pisces and Scorpio exchanged a glance. "What exactly just happened?" Scorpio asked, speaking to no one in particular. Pisces shrugged, and the blushed when she realized that she was still seated on Scorpio's lap. It was surprisingly comfortable, to the point where the two had nearly forgotten about their current situation. Pisces quickly leapt up to her feet, stuttering, "Uh, well, I guess that puts an end to that game, since Taurus left and all..." Everyone nodded in agreement.

Scorpio cleared his throat, "Um, yeah... anyone up for a movie?" Everyone agreed and began preparations for a movie. Pisces, Sagittarius, and Capricorn stayed behind in the living room while Scorpio, Gemini, Virgo, and Aries went to pick out a movie. Aquarius, Libra, Leo, and Cancer went to make popcorn.
