Taurus sat in his room staring at his the blue walls, the same shade as his hair. He honestly wanted to just punch a hole in those walls. He couldn't believe Virgo did that. Things would be completely awkward between him and Cap now. This was exactly hat Taurus was trying to avoid. Taurus hung his head and sighed, wondering if there was any way to repair the situation.---
Down in the kitchen, Cancer poked her head into the pantry, trying to find the container popcorn kernels in the back of it. Libra and Aquarius were setting up the microwave to melt some butter while Leo simply sat on the counter, surveying the land.
Cancer withdrew a big jar of kernels from the pantry. "Found them!" She said in triumph as she brushed a strand of pale hair out of her face. "Alright! Perfect timing, the butter is melted, so let's pop that corn!" Libra responded. Aquarius turned to Leo. "Hey, Scorpio won't like you lounging on his countertop. Why don't you actually help us?" Leo rolled his eyes and jumped of the couch. "Fine, but I don't see why some smart chicks like you can't figure out how to make popcorn," he responded.
Aquarius scoffed. "Forget it," she said. Leo laughed and walked over to Cancer. "Hey, Cancer, I've always meant to ask you about your hair," he said. Cancer looked at him in confusion. Leo continued, "It's pure white, yet I've never seen you dye it. Me and Virgo were discussing it earlier."
Cancer perked up at the mention of Virgo. "Oh? Virgo was talking about me?" She asked. "Oh, uh..." Leo stuttered. He mentally kicked himself. "Well, it was just a stray comment, but it still got me curious nonetheless," he said. "Oh... ok," Cancer said, sounding disappointed.
Aquarius noticed Cancer's discomfort and decided to intervene. "Come on guys, the popcorns ready. Let's go and see if the others have decided on a movie to watch," she suggested. Libra joined the conversation, "Yeah! After all that drama I could really go for a relaxing movie night." Leo slightly glared at the two women.
He leaned over to Aquarius and whispered, "Really? I'm trying to make my a move here!" Aquarius gritted her teeth in frustration. "Can't you take a hint!? She. Isn't. Interested!" Aquarius whispered back, but Leo didn't hear her. He was already making his way back to Cancer.
"So, about the hair..." he began. Cancer interrupted him, "Uh, so Virgo really didn't say anything else about me?" She asked. Leo groaned. "Really? Come on Cancer. Virgo's not so interesting." Cancer raised an eyebrow. "Um, excuse me?"
Aquarius didn't hold back this time. "Leo! She's asking you a question! At least give her the dignity of an answer!" She yelled. "I'll answer her question when she answers mine!" Leo snapped back. Aquarius held her glare. "Come on Libra, back me up here!" Aquarius said.
Libra looked taken aback. She tugged at he jet black hair. "Um, well, you are being kinda pushy, Leo," she said. Leo scoffed. "Alright, fine! Virgo was talking about you. He thinks your cute or whatever," Leo muttered to Cancer.
Cancer was surprised that Leo actually answered her. Usually she wasn't ever able to get him to stop flirting with her, despite her disinterest. She also felt her face flush as the possibility that Virgo might like her entered her mind. Her thoughts were cut off by Leo's voice. "I'm not in the mood for a movie. I'm just gonna go to bed," he said before storming out of the room. Before he left, Cancer yelled after him, "I get my hair dyed at a salon. That's why you never see me dying it myself." Leo turned back and stared at her. "Just thought you'd like to know," she said. Leo turned and left without responding.
