Chapter 7

Capricorn, Pisces, and Sagittarius were sitting in one the large living room couch. An awkward silence had fallen between them, and Sagittarius decided to put an end to it. "Well, this certainly won't be a boring place to live," she finally said. Capricorn laughed and responded, "Yeah, that is most defiantly true."

Pisces put on a friendly smile and turned to Sagittarius. "So tell us about yourself!" She said. Sagittarius smiled at the prospect of finally making some friends. "I enjoy running! I guess you could say I'm kind of an athlete," Sagittarius responded. Pisces grinned in excitement. "Yay!" She exclaimed, "We can run together!" Capricorn laughed and said, "I'll leave all that exercise to you two. I can't run more than a few feet before I get that sharp pain in my side, you know what I mean?" Sagittarius nodded. "Yeah, I know! I get those sometimes.

The topic seemed to change as Pisces jumps over to the other side of the couch where Capricorn was resting. She plopped down on the cushions causing Capricorn to bounce slightly. "Pisces, why do you always jump on the couch?" Capricorn asked, pushing some of her black, incredibly fluffy hair out of her face. "Cause I wanna ask you somethiiing!" Pisces said in a sing-song voice while poking Capricorn in the shoulder. "What?" Cap asked. Pisces had an ear to ear grin on her face. "What was the deal with that dare Virgo gave my brother? Did you put him up to it or what?" She asked. Sagittarius couldn't help but laugh as Capricorn's face went red. "Nooo! I wouldn't-I couldn't.... I swear I didn't put him up to that! I had no idea!" She cried. Pisces laughed along with Sagittarius. "Ok! Ok! We believe you!" Pisces said, patting Capricorn on the shoulder.

Capricorn lifted her face from her hands. "Really though, I hope that didn't upset him. I don't want things to be awkward between us," Capricorn stated. Sagittarius nodded. "I may have only been here a day, but, if I may say, I don't really think it was Virgo's place to do that. Heh, I guess Leo was right when he said Truth or Dare was a bad sign in this house," Sagittarius said.

Capricorn let out a wry laugh. "Ha! Imagine that! Leo right about something for once!" She said. Pisces rolled her eyes. "Oh come on, Cap! Leo's alright, he's just... has his own sense of humor," she said. Capricorn sighed. "Yeah, I guess he's fine when he's not flirting with Cancer." She admitted. Sagittarius's eyes widened. "There's quite a lot of romantic drama going on in this house," she declared. "Well, that's to be expected when you literally live with eleven other people for a good portion of your life."
Sagittarius nodded. "Yeah, that makes sense," she said, "but I think I'm gonna like it here!" Pisces and Capricorn both smiled. "Glad to here that!" Capricorn said.

Their conversation was interrupted by the voice of four men coming from the recreation room. "We've decided on the Purge series, people!" Aries called out. Almost at the same time, they heard Aquarius, Cancer, and Libra arriving with snacks and a whole jug of cranberry juice. Capricorn screamed in joy. "AAA! Yes!" She jumped up and grabbed the jug. "Cap, I will literally pay you if you can drink that entire jug within the course of the first movie," Gemini said. Capricorn smiled. "I'll accept that challenge!" She said. Pisces noticed the Leo was gone. "Hey, where's Leo?" She asked. Libra sighed in exasperation. "He's just being a baby," she said, "Let's not worry about that now, let's just chill."

They stayed up very late watching all three movies. By the time they all went to sleep it was past midnight. Sagittarius went into her new room and was practically asleep the moment she hit the pillow. 'Maybe living here will prove to be quite fun,' she thought as she drifted into unconsciousness.
