Song of the Chapter- Marvin's Room, Drake

Addie's POV

"Please."

"No."

I felt a finger poke my cheek, and it took every will power not to smile and keep my eyes on the books in front of me, "please, Addie!"

I didn't even respond, I just shook my head and flipped a page in my text book, "You've been studying all day," Harry complained.

"Maybe that's because I want to do well," I pointed out, skimming over the words in front of me.

"You're probably going to go in there that day, look at the paper, and laugh at it. You've been studying for hours nearly every day."

Finally, I looked up at Harry, sitting next to me with his arms crossed across his chest in a childish manner, "that's the plan."

"Come on, I just want to go ice skating, or go see a film, or something, I'm so bored just sitting here and watching you read."

I shut my book, giving into his words, "Fine, we'll go ice skating, but do you even have ice skates?"

He paused for a moment, taking the words in and I saw realization hit his face, "shit, no," he grumbled, "can't you rent skates there, though?"

"Well, we'll just have to hope that we can, don't we?" I answered, standing up from the bed and stretching my arms over my head, holding back a yawn.

I turned around and faced him, watching as he remained seated on the bed, his eyes furrowed in thought, "Harry, come on, let's get going."

He seemed to snap out of whatever day dream he was in and looked up at me, his eyes brightening just the slightest bit before nodding and standing up from my bed.

I walked with him to the door way of my dorm and stuffed my feet in a white pair of converse, "why are you wearing those in the winter," I heard Harry question from behind me.

"Because they're stylish and I like them," I bluntly replied, picking up my skates and slipping my coat on. I turned around to face him just as he was slipping on his, sporting his brown boots that has more freaking holes in the damn things then they should.

"You're going to slip and fall on the ice, those things have no traction."

"I'm going to be wearing them outside for two seconds, and I'm wearing my skates on the ice you idiot," I deadpanned, heading out the door and locking it behind us.

He grabbed my hand as we walked down the hallway to the elevator, a comfortable silence looming over us as we made our way downstairs.

"I meant what I said that day," Harry broke the silence as we stepped outside, shivering at the sudden drop in temperature.

"I know," I whispered, watching as my breath escaped into the frosty air.

He didn't respond back, he just reached over and opened the passenger side door for me, shutting it behind me as I stepped in, trapping me in my thoughts of what happened just a few days ago.

No words left my mouth for a moment. I could feel a new, fresh set of tears pouring down my face. I was leaving him, he wasn't wrong. Something dawned on me, though. I didn't want to leave him. Despite his asshole move this morning, I wanted to stay with him for as long as possible. I wanted to be with him. I've always had this feeling in my stomach whenever I thought about it, I always knew I wanted to be with him, but this sudden feeling was more urgent.
