City of Flowers

Deep within the trees like towers

Lies a city filled with flowers

Pastel petals float on the breeze

As winged ones soar with ease

Crystal, shining, rushing river

Winds its way through leafy green

Into the silver central square

For all to behold and devour

A palace of golden wood

Lies within its heart

Deep is it hidden

For some secrets are best kept,

Not broken

Within the trees like towers

Lies a city filled with flowers

Now night falls and the moon shines dimly

Did they see me watching quietly?
