Strings of priceless jewels and stones
Make this Mountain Keep their home
Down, down, down they delve
'Till there is nothing left but the deep
Firelight flickers on shadowy faces
Forging metals and rubies
Into something far more dangerous
Diamonds, emeralds, sapphires, gold
Are but a few jewels this Keep holds
Darkness surrounds them as they work
By only the light of a fiery torch
Clang, clang, goes the mallet on steel
Echoing around the room of chain-mail
Shadows form and dissipate
As the people walk to and fro
If the light of the fire is burning bright
Then why is there still a shadow?
