Eyes whisper
And mouths listen
Ears watch
And hands glisten
Tall, impossibly tall
They stand
A figure cloaked in black
Static sounds whenever it shifts
Flying across the land
Bathed in shadow
Crossing seas
Plants rustle
Where there is no breeze
Eyes of crystal white
They sing
A lonely song
Of what will be
Tall, impossibly tall
They stand
Figures cloaked in black
Time is running out for all
In this hourglass of sand
