To Fall For Him

The Break Up

"Layne, the phone is ringing!" My mom yelled.
"Ill be down in just a second!" I replied.

It was my senior year of high school. I was excited to go to college even though I haven't chosen one yet.

I ran to school, excited to see my best friend Vanessa. I've known her for 6 years.

"Vanessa!"

"Layne!"

We went up to each other and hugged.

"Oh my gosh I missed you while I was at Summer Camp!" Vanessa said.

"I missed you too!" I said.

She poked me in the shoulder and whispered for me to turn around.
I turned around to see August.

"August!" I said.

"Layne!" He replied.

I kissed him and he kissed back. I love him so much, at least I think I do. I hope I do. I believe I do. I do.

I had to go to my first class and Vanessa walked with me to the class. My first period was Life Science. My teacher had a good reputation. She wasn't a "boring" teacher.

The entire period, I thought of August and our two years together. All of our dates and kisses.

I had to use the bathroom, so I decided to get a pass. I went up to the teacher and asked her for one.

I walked out in the hallway and I saw August kissing a girl named Gabriella. They were pushed up against the lockers.

"AUGUST!" I yelled.

He turned around, "What?" "Oh shit!"

I ran away crying my eyes out. I went to my classroom and gave my teacher the pass. I called my mom to come pick me up.

I went back to my house and crawled in my bed. I kept sobbing because I was in love with this guy.

We went to the beach, Panama City Beach, the park, New York City, the Aquarium and the Zoo. Our latest date was the Beach. We went to Panama and stayed in a condominium. We went to the boardwalk and he won me a giant teddy bear. It was next to me right now. I threw it on the ground.

Then my phone rang...

I checked the caller ID.

"August"
