Awake

*Mettaton's POV*
I sat down on Alphy's couch. Papyrus collapsed onto my lap, I held Papy in my arms. We snuggled up to each other, I put my back to the chair and cracked my neck. Alphys and Toriel walked up to me and kissed up on the top of our heads.

We all heard a loud noise from the other room.
"T-That's... Emoji's room..." Alphys said looking in her room, Sans and Papyrus were absolutely silent. Sans, Papyrus, Alphys, Undyne, and Myself walked into the room. Emoji had shifted her position to a more of a... sickly position. She had turned on to her side and she clutched her stomach. She opened her mouth slowly. Sans and Papyrus began to tear up.
"Ngh..." she mumbled. She breathed in deeply.
"E-Emoji...?" Sans asked. A text box popped up in front of us.
"💀..?" She groaned.
"Emoji!" Sans said hugging her body. She laughed weakly. Her eyes opened. She looked at Sans fondly. She touched her face, she gasped as she felt the cracks in her skull.
"Emoji, do you know who you are?" Asked Alphys.
"Well... of course." She said softly.
"Do you know how long it has been?" Sans asked.
"I don't know... maybe about... 15 years. I'm 18... am I not?" She said, much more clearly than last time.
"Yes, y-yes you are." Sans said, he was in happy and sad tears.
"Sans... why are you so upset." She asked.
"It's just... I'm so... happy your okay." Sans got in the hospital bed next to her and hugged her. She sat up, she held her head. She was adjusting to the light in the room.
"Please... turn down the light, my head hurts." She said breathing steadily. Undyne turned off the light and turned on a lamp with low light.
*Emoji's POV*
I lied down, Sans got out of bed and held my hand. I relaxed myself, as Alphys lifted up my shirt and put some censors on my ribs and spine. Papyrus and Sans turned away to respect my privacy. Alphys then checked my soul for... something... I don't really know. Sans walked over to me and he stood at my side and didn't say anything. I looked around the room. Somehow I had missed a 6 foot tall humanoid robot! I looked at it, then Alphys, then at Sans.
"Oh, this is Mettaton. My fiancé and an awesome person!" Papyrus said hugging Mettaton.
"Uhh...! Fiancé? Aha! What did I miss?" She asked.
"Oh... you missed so much." Sans said. I chuckled,
"Tell me everything." I said somewhat exited. Sans then told me all about what happened after I "left". He told me about the other humans that fell and how all the humans were resurrected in a way. I was so interested in the conversation. It was so fascinating to know what I had missed. I talked to Mettaton... and I was very embarrassed when I figured out he was a male... I blushed such a deep purple, but thankfully he was able to laugh it off. Alphys gave me a spinal tap and checked my soul for my Determination. She asked me to get rest... so I decided to fall asleep.
*Sans' POV*
My heart was pounding! I've never felt so happy... it feels... practically liberating! I love my sister so much... I love my entire family so much. And I'm so happy to have Emoji back. I love every last person in my family ...haha...

(I'm really sorry I haven't updated in a while. I have a lot of assignments do at school. But summer is coming and I'll make more chapters! :)
