Purple Roses

*Sans' POV*
I walked over to Alphys' lab again today. Papyrus was at Mettaton's show. I walked in, Alphys was smiling.
"She seems confident you can take her home today." Undyne said. I smiled,
"I don't want to take this too fast." I said.
"No worries Comic!" Emoji said running into the room. I was baffled, she ran to me.
"I've regained a lot in the past few days." She said.
"Are you feeling better?" I asked.
"Ha, better than yesterday." She said.
"That's good." I said. She was breathing deeply every time she had too. She seemed tired from running.
"Take it easy, don't want you to get out of breath." I said.
"I promise, I'm alright." She said.
"Okay, as long as you're alright..." I mumbled. Alphys walked over to her.
"Oh yeah, we've been talking a lot and she introduced me to these cool cartoons. We're friends now." Emoji said.
"That's cool, wanna see my place?" I asked trying to get calmer.
"Yeah sure." Emoji said half sarcastically.
"It should be cool, I get to introduce you to my girlfriend and the human children in the house." I said.
"Sounds cool." She said smiling.
"I'll go with you, just in c-case anything g-goes wrong." Alphys said.
"W-wrong?" Emoji asked.
"Fuha! you shouldn't worry about it." Undyne said putting a hand on Emoji's shoulder.
"Okay... I suppose I'll take your word for it then." Emoji said. She was a little nervous. She just sighed and walked forward. She slammed her body into the wall as she was going to the door.
"Ah! I forgot she's blind in one eye!" Alphys said as we both ran over to her. She held her head in her hand and gave a quite groan and chuckle.
"I'm alright, I'm sure of it." She said sitting down for a moment.
"You sure?" Undyne asked.
"Yeah." She said.
She stood up again and put her hand  next to the door knob. She chuckled and moved her hand a little to the left and grabbed the door knob and opens it. I couldn't help but smile. She was just as I remembered her. An innocent child who just likes to have fun. She lives in the moment and is rather cheerful. Even in losing a bit of her depth perception didn't get her too down. I guess being in the void kept her in a child state of mind. I insisted on holding her hand as we walked home. Most of the monsters came to see the monster they have never seen before. She was uncomfortable but she introduced herself to everyone. Soon we lost the crowd and entered snowdin. We showed her around and we went to the ruins. We walked to the house and introduced her to Tori.
"Why hello to you, Emoji." Toriel said shaking her hand. Emoji smiled at her. The Chara and Frisk ran in and they were both excited to see her. Frisk gave her a hug and Chara shook her hand. She sat down on the couch with me and Alphys. Chara, Frisk, and Toriel sat on in the other chairs.
"So uhh- never mind." Chara mumbled.
"What is it your majesty?" Emoji asked.
"Oh haha, no need for those formal names. But in all seriousness what I was going to say isn't important for the time being." Chara said.
"Oh, okay." She said.
"Are you feeling alright?" Frisk asked.
"I can assure you all that I'm fine." She said giving us all a reassuring smile. Alphys looked worried and skeptical about her. I just was happy to hear it in the moment even if it was a lie. I hugged her. She looked over at me and smiled.
"Hey, Emoji, since your going to live here let me show you around." Frisk said.
"Oh, alright." She said. Chara was quietly mumbling something to them self.
"Chara?" I asked. They quickly stopped and looked over at me.
"Yes?" They asked.
"I was just wondering what you were doing." I said.
"Oh, I was just... thinking over some things." They said calmly.
"Oh, well...okay." I said as I decided to follow Emoji. She was sitting on the swings in the backyard. She was talking to Toriel. Then something caught her eye and she walked towards the garden. We followed her and we saw what she was looking at. Purple roses. I then remembered... how much she loved purple roses.

"Sans! Sans!"
"Yeah?"
"Look!"
"Heh heh, yeah, they're purple roses"
"Don't they look pretty?"
"I guess so."
"Ha, yeah. They remind me of Mommy."
"Uhh... yeah. Yeah... she loved them too."
"Sans, do you remember when she taught us how to make flower crowns?"
"Yeah."
"Could you make me one?"
"Yeah..."

I went over to her and hugged her.
"Sans. Wanna make some flower crowns together?" Emoji asked.
"Yeah." I said as we smiled at each other.
"Yeah, let's make some flower crowns together." Frisk said. Emoji chuckled and we all made flower crowns. Chara came out and made some with the rest of us. We had a very nice day.
I'm so happy.
