Midnight of Fun

Jason's POV

It was the middle of the night. What better time to sneak out, right? Anyway, I snuck over to the Aphrodite Cabin, which was pretty hard considering that the cabin was completely bright pink. Plus it is pretty much a spotlight. Even in the dark. I was almost torn to shreds by harpies. Twice. I finally reached their cabin. I tapped the window which is next to Piper's bed. She sat straight up, and looked at me funny. Kind of that "oh what now?" Sort of thing. I opened up the window and whispered "let's go."

She rolled her eyes but got up anyway. Strangely she was dressed in jeans and a Camp Half-Blood t-shirt. The shirt I could understand,they were super comfortable, but the jeans, that was really weird. I whispered "what's with the jeans?" She shot me a look, but rolled her eyes. "Gift from my mom. They're super comfy."

That would explain it. Aphrodite was the queen of fashion. Once on a quest, we had to hike up a mountain. Piper's mom had decided it a good idea to have her wear a dress. Don't get me wrong, she totally rocked it, but Pipes absolutely despised it.

I just shrugged. Then I grabbed her hand and pulled her through the shadows towards the Hephaestus Cabin. Right outside we stopped. Piper looked at me like I was crazy.

"What are we gonna do? Grab Leo and go on another quest?"

"No the Hephaestus kids are gonna let us join in on the fun."

"Ugh, what have you gotten me into? If it's such a great party, where's the music? Lights?"

"Ugh you're such a non-believer Pipes."

"Mmhmm, you know what? My mom is a GOD. By all means show me how to believe."

"Thanks. I thought you would never ask."

I walked up to the door and knocked four times, waited a second then knocked once more. Someone pulled a flap on the door and asked me, " name, and state your business."

"Jason, and Piper, here for Leo's party."

He slid the flap back and opened the door. Suddenly the area was filled with lights. The air was filled with KP's new song "Chained to the Rhythm."

We walked inside and saw a ton of people dancing around. A lot of people were holding red solo cups. The was a table set up in the corner filled with food. The music was so loud I could barely hear myself think. I grabbed a kid and asked, "how come you can't hear the music outside?" It was less asking and more screaming. "Sound proof walls, man! WHOO!" Was my answer. Then the guy disappeared into the crowd.

"Well that was helpful, I guess?" Piper just smiled. "Ugh, you dork. Come on, let's dance." I laughed how could I say no? She pulled me on the dance floor and she started dancing. She was pretty good. I felt a little self-conscious dancing next to her. Piper just got more amazing every day.

Suddenly Leo was standing in front of us. "Hey dudes, sup?"

Me Piper looked at each other. "Oh, not a lot. We're just dancin at the best party EVER!" She said. "Speaking of which, where's your date?" I asked Leo. He looked down sheepishly. "I didn't know about the party. So... Calypso is at the big house, fast asleep." He answered. "That's too bad bud." I told him.

We finished off the night with a film of the best Leo moments. There was one of him and Calypso kissing on the beach. "Hey, who took this one?Whoever took it is gonna die!" Leo yelled. We all laughed. Leo was so scrawny it was almost cute. Then there was a bunch of him and Festus, our dragon friend. One of Leo firing the ballistae at Camp Jupiter. One of him sailing the Argo II. Lots and lots of pictures. By the end of it the sun was coming up. Piper and I ran out just as the wake up horn sounded. It was Saturday. I wish we could just sleep in. We aren't aloud to, even if we don't have any classes.

Ugh, I hate that stupid horn. Piper broke the silence. "Hey, you wanna go swimming today?" She asked me. "And see my girlfriend in a bikini, never." I said. She just slapped me playfully. "Whatever, just get changed and I'll meet you at the beach." I laughed. Then she pulled me into a kiss. Gods I love that girl!
