"Anyway, how come you've come this far without the guards noticing you?" I ask my companion while climbing the wall. Gawain ko ito lagi everytime na gusto kong makita ang iba pang layer. Pero syempre inaakyat ko yung lugar na walang guards para safe, mahirap na baka mahuli.

Yung kasama ko naman ay nag-wall climbing din. Tinanong ko naman siya kung gusto niyang umakyat din o hahanap na lang kami ng ibang daan, pero paniguradong matatagalan yun. Para sa safety niya ay nagtali na lang ako ng lubid sa waist niya at ang kabilang dulo no'n ay nilagyan ko ng hook saka ko binato sa taas ng wall para makaakyat siya ng maayos. Sinigurado ko naman hindi matatanggal yung pagkaka-hook no'n kaya ligtas siyang makakaakyat.

"Well, I sneak out quietly. And the guards most of the time are sleeping. You can easily pass their post when they are like that. Their not doing their job right."

"I see. Anyway, were almost there."

We take few more step until we reach the top of the wall. From this point of view we can see the city lights from the 3rd layer. The tall buildings and the ferris wheel in the amusement park. Every night I was here, watching the beautiful scenery behind our wall. I find it relaxing but I know I will never reach it.

"Wow.. What a lovable sight. Breath-taking, overwhelming view." sabi ng kasama ko.

"Yes, it is. Do you want to stay here for awhile?"

"Of course, I am!"

Natawa ako sa sagot nito, halatang gustong-gusto niyang mag-stay dito. "Alright.." Umupo kami sa taas ng wall while watching the twinkling and blinking of lights.

"This is my first time seeing this. Colorful and wonderful."

"I agree.."

"I really won't regret coming in this place. It makes me realized many things. Coming in this world outside the academy makes me meet you, and let me experience this kind of thrill."

Napangiti naman ako sa sinabi nito. "And I'm glad you came. Well, let's be friends?"

"Sure. Friends.."

"Oh yeah!" Tumayo na ako at nagpagpag. "So, let's go?"

Tumayo na din ito. "Alright.. But, how can we go down there? This wall is too high."

"We'll jump."

"Oh, we will jump.. That's easy--- Wait, what?! We will going to jump?!"

"Yes, we will."

"We can't! We will definitely going to die!" Natawa ako sa reaksyon nito. Pero, tinatalon ko lang talaga 'to eh.

"No, were not going to die. I've tried this countless of time and as you can see I'm still alive and kicking."

"Really? How come?" Gulat na gulat na sabi nito.

"I jump, as easy as that."

"But.. but, I'm scared."

I hold her hand and give her an reassuring smile. "Trust me, alright?"

I feel her hold my hand tightly. "A-alright. Sheesh, I'm nervous. So... so nervous."

"Jumping at this kind of height is awesome and cool. You will feel the wind at your skin and that so nice."

"Really?"

"Really!"

Bakas ang pag-ngiti nito sa kabila ng telang nakatakip sa bibig nito. "Alright! Whoo! I can do this. I can do this. You can do this Liliene. I know you can. Breath in, breath out. Inhale, exhale." Natawa ako sa pinaggagagawa nito. Ganito siya ka-nervous?
