I watch her sleep, I do this a lot I find, it calms me down, watching lip quiver slightly with each breath. I find my eyes getting heavy staring at her, Tori has fallen asleep, book still in hand, Simon still draws, but looks like he could doze of at any moment so I let my self fall to the mercy of sleep.
I slightly wake, just a bite, keeping my eyes closed, I reach out, hoping to find Chloe's warm skin and drift away again. But only finding my own cold skin, my heart starts pounding, my mind instantly going to the worst senecio. My eyes fling open, I wipe my head around back and forth trying to make out my surroundings, but my eyes don't adjust to the light and are still blurry from sleep. "C-ch" I try to say Chloe but can't form her name, I'm stop by warm lips, so soft, so familiar.
"I'm right here" she whispers as we pull apart, only for me to lean back in, kissing her again. Harder this time, as my heart slows down, reminding myself she here, and she'll always be here.
"Okay guys we get it" Simon says a little annoyed, Chloe lets out a giggle as we pull apart, for good this time.
"Oh come on Simon there cute" Tori slaps him lightly with her book and winks at us. I let out a smile.
"What time is it" I ask, realizing the sun is out. Simon checks he's watch,
"about 8:00" "Your dad said we can order breakfast" Chloe says, sliding me a menu. I quickly glance over it and Tori flags down a waiter. We all order, a fruit salad for Simon, pancakes for Tori, Waffles for Chloe and I get and omelette. Shortly after the waiter leaves my dad returns to us.
"Good everyone's up" he says with a smile, "have you ordered?" We nod. "So I got us actual beds for tonight, there just small bunks, here's the numbers" he hands us a ripped pice of paper with numbers on it. "After breakfasts you guys can settle in, there's bathrooms if you want to shower, and for the rest of the day you can just hang out, order lunch whenever you want but meet us back here for dinner at 6:00, we'll talk over some more stuff." We nod again and he leaves with a smile, only for Lauren to replace him. She stars at the ground while she talks, quietly
"Chloe, can I speak to you" Chloe doesn't answer at first, she stays still. "Chloe please." She slightly nods, and gets up slowly. I know what that's about, I heard my dad and Lauren talking. Chloe's still mad from last night, the look her aunt gave her, I would be surprised if she wasn't mad, but sometimes Chloe can forgive to easily, even with me.
