Chapter 6

Chloe

I wake to Tori shaking me, I look around confused, last night, I remember Derek his strong arms holding me and then, half waking up only to fall asleep again.
"We're supposed to be at the boys room in 5 minutes" Tori tells me, I look over to my aunts bed, empty. As if reading my mind Tori answers
"your aunt went to discuss some stuff with Kit, apparently today we're going over our long term plans." Great long term, I didn't want to think about that, I want to to think about right now, where the emidient threat of being hunted wasn't there.
"Thanks" I give Tori and get up, between these sweat pants, sweater and tank top, and the dress I found in the closet, that I'd worn last night, I have no clothes, well probably talk about getting some today. I pull my hair back into a ponytail and leave with Tori. We open the boys door to find my aunt and Kit in the small kitchen, the barley notice us, and Simon and Derek sitting at the small table, bags of McDonadles spread in front of them. Simon gives a smile and Derek get up greeting me with a hug. We site at the table and I unwrap a mc muffin, my Aunt and Kit join us and lay out the plan.
"First off" Kit starts "we'll need supplies and clothes, after breakfast, we will go to the closest mall, Chloe you shouldn't go out right now, with your picture in the papers and news and the dye almost all out of your hair. We'll get you a new colour" the thought of my dad makes my stomach twist again, him worrying sick and I can't tell him I'm okay. "You shouldn't stay alone, so Derek will stay to, Tori, you can shop for Chloe and Simon you for Derek." The both nod "as for the long term plan, we'll stay here until Sunday" four more days "and then start to move, first we'll take the train to the next state. From there we'll try to find other supernaturals. Along the way I will try to teach you how to control your powers, as for school, between Lauren, Derek and I, I think we can home school you pretty well. Sound like a plan?" We all nod still eating "Tori, Simon, we'll leave in half an hour". After breakfast my aunt pulls me aside,
"look Chloe, I will never fully support your relationship with Derek" she takes a deep breath, I won't stop it ether, I just want you to be happy" I give a small smile and she hugs me. I can tell she wants our relationship to be good, after everything it's nice to have family. After that, they leave, saying they'll be back in a couple of hours.
