Chapter 4:When I See You Again

I never should have put Wendy and the others in danger.Just seeing them hurt right infront of my eyes makes me feel guilty.And the worst is that their searching for me even though I can't let them to do so.

I kept running and running letting every tear come out from my eyes. Made it swollen till it's all ran out. I hid behind a tree, panting and sweating. Covering my mouth with my both hands saying that I can't keep this up. I noticed that I was in the center of the forest because of the sacred tree that rules the forest.

Reminds of the time when we're in Tenrou Island for the S-Class Trial but ended up being time traveled through seven years advance. Everyone that I knew had grown more after that. Yup.... Those are old times already. I looked in my plain right hand giving a fainted smile while caressing it with my other hand. How I miss the the mark that was given to me long ago.

I sat beside the tree, feeling sleepy all of a sudden. Making the atmosphere quiet and calm. But then it broke when a voice was calling out my name.

"Lucy!!!!"

I quickly snapped out of my imagination with my eyes wide open when I heard the familiar voice. But why? From all the voices out there why does it have to be this one? I tried to get up from my position but a heavy weight inside was pushing me down.

I can't let him see me... but I do look forward to seeing him again. Even if it's worth risking my cover to be caught. No.... I can't get carried away. I just can't.  No matter what I do. I just can't let Natsu see me. I'll just end up hurting him along with his comrades. Which I used to call them my friends.

I lay down on the tree not knowing what to do. I guess that I'm hopeless right now since my body's refusing me to get up. It was some kind of force that kept pushing me and controlling the way I act. So maybe it wanted me to be hopeless now.

I gave out a big sigh and stared at the sunset as it falls down to the black starry night. It was always the sun that shines up my day with its rays of light and the warmth whenever I feel cold. Always followed wherever I go. But is far away when I try to reach for it... Even at the hardest times of my life, I wanted it to stay with me for as long as I live to see it. Just like Natsu. How he represents so much of how I think of the sun just makes me feel sad. Since we're far away from each other. Missing his company and his own warmth around me. Letting the last tear to come out of my eye.

I took a last glimpse on the trees before closing my eyes to sleep on the grass. And what I saw from the last glimpse made my heart skipped a beat. All those time that I've been thinking from the start. Just makes me glad that it was the man who was looking for me

The pink haired idiot that I missed so much.

Natsu Dragneel

The sunset fell while Me and Happy are still searching for Lucy. I was very worried when I realized that there was no sight of her whatsoever. Nobody had reported me if they found her or not. Guess they are really busy looking for her still.

We checked everywhere but not even a single sight of her in the forest. This time I was very concerned bout Lucy on where she is hiding now. Holding her keys thinking what to do now.

Then an idea suddenly popped out on my mind leaving a evil grin with it. I looked at Happy and lift up Lucy's keys. Happy knew that I was plannimg something so I told him what it was.
