Chapter 11: 1st Day

It was unexpected when Levy came knocking to my door. I haven't gotten to much sleep from my dream. And that dream was very long. 'I wonder why it took so long. All I can remember from that dream is me leaving FairyTail...'. She gave a long hug and waited for me to get ready.

There was no signs of the man since he told about the 14 days of 'real freedom'. I guess he actually gave me a chance. Now sometimes I thought of him as a guardian but in a bad way, After all he had been controlling for these 2 years. Torturing, Mind Control and Pain. All of those things went on from him. But I knew there was something good on that wicked heart of his. I just know. But now's not the time to think of it. Right now I'll be enjoying those 2 weeks with my friends.

As I finished doing my hair, I walked to Levy who is waiting patiently at the door. We both gave a big smile to each other while we made our way to the guild.

'What do you want to do today,Lucy?" Asked Levy as we walked in the stone pavements along the way.

"Umm, I don't really know."

"What do you mean you don't know?" She asked again.

"Well, Since it's my first day coming back here unexpectedly, I have no idea."

"Any ideas?" I huffed at her question when I already told her that I have no idea. She giggled lightly and walked fast, leaving me behind her back.

"You missed a lot of things while you were gone. Aside from us being depressed, We are still able to do our daily life. But of course, We were worried about you. As usual." She said while taking a glance back at me. I was relieved when she told me that they're still doing their daily life. Having thoughts of them slumping on the tables on the main hall of the guild all day and complaining to gramps must be hard for them.

"Like what?" I asked to not make the conversation depressing.

"Like when Erza almost died on a quest and Macao had a total breakdown when Romeo defeated a giant monster. He was so shocked when he heard that. Romeo didnt -" Then she continued on and on. I didn't bother to listen cause it was a lot of things that I missed.

Instead I played with my fingers and just looked around the sidewalks. Looking back at Levy, She was still telling me those things while her arms spread out and walking. I simply turned back to what I was doing and noticed that we were almost in the guild hall. 'Finally we're near'.
I sighed at the look of our guild and lightly smiled at it. But fastly broke down as soon I saw someone familiar on the corner of my eye.

I look at the direction and squinted my eyes to see him clearly. While I was doing that, I found him glaring at me as my vision got clearer. 'Oh, It's him...'
My head became woozy of the sight him. I guess there'll be consequences for making him accept my decision. But I cannot let that happen. I can't let him ruin my day.

"Demon's Pain."

I whispered under my breath. He suddenly narrowed his eyes and gritted his teeth. His arms wrapped around his stomach while silently lifting up his head to me. I death glared at him to let him know not to piss me off or else. And then, he got mad. But he didn't approach me. In fact, he turned and slowly fades away. Before he took off, he look back at me and returned my thought.

"Or else I'm gonna kill them right before your eyes"

I remembered him saying that to me back then. I knew that he was pointing out Levy. But I will make sure that'll never happen. The spell I used on him was now one of my powers. It's like Maker Magic but some spells doesn't need the word 'make'. My new power is a curse. A forbidden one. And that man made me unleash it within me. I hated him for making me a monster. Sometimes, A curse can be a power. And a power can be a curse.
