*liams pov*
"WAKE UP!!" "PLEASE WAKE UP!" Liam screamed, at his unconcious best friend, through his uncontrolable sobs.
Liam fantically called the ambulance whilst trying to calm himself down laying next to his silent partner in the middle of the road. moments later the ambulance arrived taking them both to the hospital and fast as they could. Liam waited impatiently in the waiting room as he waited for his best friend to be checked. Tears streaming down his face, his body shaking, his mind muddled as he paced around the room silently blaming himself for what had just happened. "why did he do that?" he questioned himself. "what was wrong? what wasn't he telling me??" "this is all my fault.. i should have been more aware of how he was feeling.." he was snaped out of his thoughts by the doctor,
"Mr Payne?"
"here.." he stamered.
"follow me please"
Liam followed slowly behind dragging his feet.
as they walked in the door, Liam saw his best friend laying on the bed sleeping.
"he's stable, but, he's fractured his radius, ulna and his fibula. he'll need to take it easy the next few days. we'll keep him in over night tonight to make sure his liver is going to be ok."
"thank you so much. am i able to stay in here?" Liam questioned stuttering, knowing he'd say no.
"usually we don't allow it unless your family, but considering its late and your best friends, and he'll probably like to wake up to a familiar friendly face, i'll let you."
Liam thanked him and told him he was just going for a quick walk to clear his head. as Liam left the room he took his phone out of his pocket, his eyes welling with tears as he dialed his good friends number. Louis. He explained to him everything that had happened taking deep breathes between each sob. Louis tried his best to comfort him before telling him he should sleep and that they could meet up tomorrow at Liams if it was ok with his friend. Louis had met him once before at one of liams parties where they'd both gotten shit faced and kissed. after exchanging good nights, Liam silently walked back into the hospital room and fell asleep in the bed next to his best friend.
