Lili's POV
Dreams. Aren't they all just our thoughts transformed into fantasies? A thought that comes into our minds when we make that blissful moment of closing our eyes, our heads pressed against our pillows and our bodies inactive upon our comforting beds. But things were no longer a dream for the people in this town. It was all a nightmare. Especially for the Sheriff, Sheriff Keller. The father of the recent news, Casey Keller and his unannounced absence, assumed to have been kidnapped. He's been missing for 2 weeks. At first it did not come to a concern as he had informed his father about staying at a friend's place. Then it began to bother his father as his phone addicted son didn't pick up.

"How could this have happened?" I asked shocked to Cole.

"I don't know who in the world would have the audacity to kidnap the Sheriff's son," he replied with a grimace.

I looped my fingers through his.

"We have to help the sheriff, we have to find Casey," I pleaded softly.

He stared down at me for a while, my eyes glimmering with tears. I was closest to Casey than anyone else was. He was my gay best friend who would help me with almost everything. Even the unimportant crap. And now... now he was gone.

"Ugh, fine," he replied stroking my cheek.

"He would do it for us," I said with a small smile.

"I would do it for you," he replied leaning in to kiss me.

Once again the shrill bell rang sounding for the first period. We parted our ways to our classes. I had English which I shared with KJ.

"Ok, students, quickly now, everyone take your seats. We must begin the lesson immediately," Mrs Phillips demanded.

I sat down at my seat where I usually sat beside Casey. KJ slid over, almost falling off the chair as he sat down. I gasped a little my face in a slight frown as I watched him.

"Heeeey, Lili," he dragged awkwardly as he positioned himself properly on Casey's chair.

"Hi," I replied tensely.

"So, uh, what's up?" he asked casually.

"Um, well. Maybe that my best friend is missing and that nobody seems to be caring," I replied annoyed.

"Are you angry at me?" he asked raising his eyebrows.

"No KJ, I'm stressed. I'm stressed about everything that's going on," I urged.

"Hey, just breathe and just chill for a second," he said grabbing my hand.

I stammered as I felt his hand touch my own. I slipped my hand from his and grabbed my books as I trudged to another desk.

"Ok, hush now students. Casey Keller, he attended this English class, did anyone see him before his disappearance?" Mrs Phillips questioned seriously.

All the hands in the class raised. Mrs Phillips raised her eyebrow.

"I mean just before he went missing..." she continued.

My hand stayed up as did KJ's. Everyone else lowered their hands except for Moose. I frowned a little over to Moose.

"Hm. Moose? This should be interesting," Mrs Phillips muttered.

"I was sitting in a booth at Pop's... with Casey. And we were just drinking milkshakes. And uh, that was the last I saw him," he stammered.

"Right. Now have you told the Sheriff this?" Mrs Phillips asked.

"Um, no Miss," he replied guiltily.

"Well you better, whenever you get the chance!" she warned.

"KJ put your hand down!" she scowled, "Lili?"

"Uh, well he came over to my place just before. And um, we were just talking about drama and stuff, he also mentioned that he was going to stay at a friend's place later that night but he didn't say who," I explained.

"Very well and have you told-"

"Yes. I have. Yes I have told Sheriff Keller," I stumbled.

"Good," she replied. "I knew it was that serpent," she mumbled under her breath.

"Uh, what did you say Miss?" I asked.

"I said turn to chapter 4 of your textbooks!" she snapped.
