Chapter 4

I put on a sundress from my closet and slip on a pair of sandals. I grab the sunglasses Ethan put on my bedside table. I smile and grab one of my books and sit on the bed. I stare at the door waiting for Ethan. He bursts into the the groom with a big smile on his face.  He was dressed in a blue shirt and black jeans and some tennis shoes.  He smiles and me and hugs me. 

"You look gorgeous love. "

"And you look stunning. " I say and run my hands done his chest.

He chuckles and grabs my hand.  He leads me out of my room and downstairs to these giant doors.  He walks over and opens them.  I smile as he leads me outside.  There we're tons of beautiful flowers everywhere.  The garden was huge and filled with a whole bunch of different plants.  There was a giant tree in the middle of the garden and he leads me over to it.  On the other side of the tree was a little plaid blanket on the ground and a basket.  He sat down on the blanket and I sat across from him. He grabs the basket and pulls out a couple sandwiches,  some chips and some drinks.  I smile at him and he smiles back.

"I figured we could just have a kinda chill meal. "

"Sounds great. " I say and take a sip out of my drink.

I set the drink down and Ethan tackles me.  He plants kisses all of my face and I giggle . He pulse away and gives me a little smirk.  I raise an eyebrow at him and he starts tickling my sides. I start full on laughing and swatting his hands away.

"N-no stop! " I yell out of breath.

He pulls away and laughs.  "You have the cutest laugh I've ever heard. "

I blush lightly and shush him.  He climbs off me and sits back across from me.  I grab one of the sandwiches and start to eat it.  Ethan stares at me so I slowly stop.

"Wh-what? "

"Even when you're eating you look absolutely stunning." He said and looked at me with awe. 

I blush hard "E-ethan. "

"Shh just eat okay,  I know you didn't eat much breakfast. "

I nid and go back to eating my sandwich.  Once we both got finished we got up and started walking around the garden.  He leads me over to this maze and stops. 

"In the middle is a special surprise for you. " he says and smiles at me

"But I have a horrible sense of direction and I'll get lost an-. "

He stops me "if you get scared just call out to me okay,  I'll be there in a seconds notice. "

"Why this? "

"I dunno I just figured it would be something fun and it'll keep you outside for a bit,  now go on. " he says and pushes me inside. I turn around to glare at him and he was already gone.  I groan and start walking around the maze.  After about five turns I get completely lost.  I sigh and start finding a whole bunch of dead ends.  I take a left and hear two people talking.  When I start to get close to the voices they stop .I look around the corner to see a black haired man making out with Amy.  I gasp and the black haired man turns around.  He's over to me on an instant and he outs his hand around my throat. 

"Who are you and what are you doing here? "

I gasp for air and am unable to reply to him.  He tightens him hand around my throat and I start to feel myself go weak.  I hear Ethan yell and I feel me be dropped.  I hit the ground with a loud this and Ethan rushes over to my side.  He starts yelling St the black haired man and the man looks to be apologizing.  Amy rushes over to me as well.  She holds my hand and helps me breath steadily.  Once I start breathing normally I sit up. The man with the black hair walks over to me

"Hey uh I'm sorry i-i didn't know,  I thought. "

"It's fine. " I cough out

Ethan glares at the man. "It's not fine,  Mark should've known better. "

I look St the man again and realize that it was the same man Amy ran off with at the ball.  It was Ethan's older brother who had almost killed me. Ethan picks me up carefully and carries me back inside.  He signs and places me on the bed.

"It seems no matter what I do,  you always get hurt. "

"Its just cause I'm new here. " I say my voice all scratchy.

He lays down next to me and pulls me close.  " I just don't want you to get hurt anymore.  Maybe I should just let you go."

I wrap my arms around d him. And hug him tight. "N-no please. "

"No?  But you we're brought here against your will,  and I know the only reason you have acted so nice is because you we're told to." He let's go of me and pulls away. I sit up and wrap my arms around him again.

"Maybe I was forced to come here,  but that doesn't mean that I don't care about you." I bury my face into his back and start to cry.  "Please... Don't leave me."

He turns around and faces me.  He lifts my head and cups my face.  He kisses me passionately and I kiss back. He pulls away and sets him forehead against mine.  "I'm sorry. "

"For what ?"

"Making you cry ."

"It's okay,  I don't mind as long as I'm with you in the long run. "

He smiles . "Do you wanna see your surprise. "

I nod my head and he pulls a heart locket out of his pocket. He places it around my neck and fastens it "It has my scent embedded into it,  so that way any vampire that comes around you will know you're Mine and only Mine. "
