It was a crazy day. But, after that incident, Tenma didn’t see Caine again. So, just as he had promised, he headed on to the Steel Tower Plaza. And there, he saw her, her hands holding on to the bars with a frustrated face.

“C-caine!” he called and ran to her.

“M-matsukaze…” she stuttered.

“I told you, call me Tenma,” he said.

“Yeah,” she replied, “Sure,”

Tenma stared at her with a blush on his face.

“U-um, Chi-san…”

She looked up. Tenma was blushing but he wasn’t hiding it. Tenma searched through his pockets and looks like he found what he was looking for.

“Bring out your hand,” he said.

She did as she was told. Tenma took it and gave her something that felt like it was kept warm for a long time.

She opened her hand and found a necklace that looked wind-shaped inside a circle.

“Tenma,”

“I noticed that you like the wind so much so… I took my time looking for this,” he said with his voice wavering.

“I love it!” she said.

“Really?” Tenma asked.

“Yeah!” she said and hugged him, “I really do,”

Tenma smiled and hugged back. “Thanks, I-I love you,”

Caine looked up to him and smiled. “I love you too,” she said.

They both leaned forward, getting closer and closer until they felt their breaths.

And, they kissed.

And in the corner of the street, Kariya watched them with a soft smile.

“My work as cupid is done,” he said, and then grinned mischievously.

“So… who’s next?”
