Telling Jughead stupid jokes to make him smile.
It was late. Jughead, Betty and Veronica were all sat with you at the table in the corner of pops. Jughead had his head rested on your shoulder and his eyelashes fluttered with tire. You're intertwined hands were in your lap and the twilight hour meant PDA between the two of you had gone up by 90%.
"Then he turned around and it was Harry Styles" exclaimed Veronica "I was mortified" Betty burst out laughing and you let out a small chuckle, but in all honesty you hadn't been tuned into the conversation for a while.
"Hey guys, what do you call cheese that's not yours?" All eyes turned to you and Jughead lifted his head up. "Nacho cheese!" You cracked a wide smile and laughed, Jughead looks at you incredulously, shaking his head and Veronica let out a small laugh. Betty, however, found the stupid joke hilarious and burst out laughing.
"I think it's time I took you home" Jughead smiled softly and stood, holding his hand out to you. "Bye guys" you rubbed your eyes and grabbed Jughead's hand, walking out of the diner together and into the night.
