Imagine Jughead looking at you like this when you walk into school.

The summer before senior year had treated me good, I had grown into myself. So walking into Riverdale high on my first day back was daunting - I was no longer frumpy jumper girl.

I pushed the doors open and started making my way towards my locker. Towards the end of the last academic year I had started to develop a crush on Jughead Jones a boy who honestly was so underrated but ridiculously good looking. I had English classes with him the last semester and made casual friends, even meeting up and going to the Twilight drive in together during summer before I went on holiday.

Closing my locker i shoved my note books into my bag and threw it over my shoulder. I started walking towards my first class, ironically English, and weaved my way through groups of Riverdale high students, looking out for my friends.

Locking eyes with Jughead who was standing at his own locker with his long time friend Archie. Jughead looked me up and down and waved me over. Blushing I walked over with a spring in my step.

"Hi guys! How was the first two weeks of school without me?"
I had been on holiday in the summer with my family that had spilt into the term time.
"Dreadful"
Jughead said and smiled at me as Archie nudged him smiling.
"Juggie missed you, was wondering where you were till he looked at your Instagram"
Archie looked over my shoulder and picked his bag off the floor.

"Excuse me"
Archie muttered as he pushed past me making his way over to Betty, unintentionally leading me to step closer to Jughead.
"So I was wondering if you wanted to have dinner with me tomorrow night"
Jughead mumbled and rubbed the back of his neck.
I smiled widely and hitched my bag higher up on my shoulder.
"Like a date?"
"Yeah, I mean unless you don't want it to be, I guess we could just invite our frien-"
"I do."
I interrupt his rambling and leant over, kissing his cheek as the bell rang, new hope  in the air for the new year at school.
