Chapter 5

Ophelia's POV

Driving up to the gate that leads to my house, I worried about what Rhett would think about it. It is considerably a large estate. Sure, it is beautiful. Looking like a palace full of priceless art and crafted to look like Kings and Queens live here. I still could not wait to own a house of my own, one that is simple. No gates, no maids, and no three floors.

I punched in my code and the gate opened, letting us through. He followed me as we drove up the drive and around the mansion. I park my hummer next to Hunter's Lexius and step down from the Hummer.

"Wow, nice place." Rhett commented behind me. Turning I take in his appearance. He is truly handsome, I wanted to run my fingers through is soft looking, sandy brown hair.

"It is a great place if you like living in an outrageous house." He seem to examine me for a minute, searching for something.

"Come on. My friends are here." I led us in, hope everything goes smoothly.

Rhett's POV

This house was crazy huge. I had seen big houses but this outshined all of them. Following her through the hallway, the only sound made was the clicking of her wedges on the marble floor.

Coming to what I am guessing is the movie room, I take in the three guys playing a video game, while two girls are watching them from the floor.

"Hey guys! Um..This is Rhett. My new friend." My chest burned when she said friend. We are more than friends! My wolf also did not like those guys eyes on her. I had to hold him back from grabbing her and pulling her to my side.

They all were looking between the two of us. Nobody said anything, until all of sudden one of the guys jumped up from the couch.

"It is about time our little Lia got a boyfriend! I was starting to get worried that she was turning lizzy, if you know what I mean." I let out a laugh when I noticed Ophelia blushing.

"Logan!" Ophelia scolded. He simply shrugged it off and laughed.

"What we all were thinking it." One of the guys paused the game they had been playing. They all started standing up.

"Hi! I'm Beth. It is so nice to finally meet you! I get to put the face to the name, I thought when Lia said extrememly good looking she was full of it but-" Ophelia put her hand over Beth's mouth stoping here from continuing. I was getting highly amused by this. Also my ego was boosted when I heard she had been talking about me.

"Brian." The buffest of the three males came forward holding his hand out. I had still not ruled him out of being a threat. Shaking his hand he gave me small nod before standing out of the way.

Locking my eyes on the last male in the room as he came closer to me, he didn't put his hand out to shake mine like Brian did. Instead he seem to examine me for a moment.

"I am Hunter. Let's get one thing made clear, if you hurt her I will make sure you live to regret it." I highly doubt he could hurt me in anyway but I kept that to myself. It made me feel better that he seemed protective of my little mate. He seem to be like a brother. This calmed my wolf and me.

"Hunter don't threaten him!" Ophelia glared at him. I reached out and grabbed her hand catching her off gaurd.

"It is okay Ophelia. He is just looking out for you." Blushing she looked away from me gaze.

"Um, Hi." I looked down at a short red head. She looked like the shy one just by the way she held her self.

"Hi." I said back.
