Gamzee x Reader

4:34. You squirm in your bed trying to be comfortable. You lay there for hours staring at the ceiling in frustration. You knew it wasn't healthy that you hadn't slept in three days. But to your demise your phone found it's way into your hands again. You scroll   Through the apps not opening them. The phone was mainly to hold something, which didn't quite settle your anxiety or boredom. You click on the phone icon searching for someone who would still be up at this hour. Hmm you didn't think karkat would appreciate a disruption and john was probably sleeping or keeping Dave occupied. Gamzee however he was almost always up. You hover over your finger over his name, biting your lip. Your eyes roll at your awkwardness and you press the call button. Only a few rings pass when you hear Gamzee's  gruffly voice "sup lil mama". You can almost feel the smile on his face. This brings one to yours. "Hey um c-can you come over" you ask shyly to your cute little clown bard. "Of motherfucking course, faygo and all" he shouts across the phone. You pull the phone from your ear slightly and giggle "good I'll see you then". You smile and you guys bid adieu. You lay back into your bed, your smile fading away. Part of you wondered if you annoyed the clown. You called him a lot and he always acts nice. But what if he really hates you. These were the thought running through your mind. You hoped you didn't come of needy to anyone. These thoughts run through your head for a while longer before you hear you your front door open. You forgot you had given the clown a key. You look down still feeling guilty for calling him. Clothes are scattered around you room making a messy display much like Gamzee's hive. You hear your door open and you look up to see him. His hands are occupied with two faygos and his face with a smile. He ducks into the room. His height along with his tall horns makes it for him to get into most doors. You giggle a little still slightly upset. He sets the drinks on your table and jumps into your bed. "What's up motherfucker" he shouts. You jump and press a finger to his mouth "your gonna wake the neighbors". He giggles and kisses your nose. You look down with a blush. You look up again and see gamzee frowning. "W-what" you ask. "What's all up and wrong (y/n/n)" he asks worried. "Nothing, I'm fine" you put on a fake smile. He leans in tucking his head into your neck "I love you". "I love you to gamzee" you whisper, a tear rolls down your cheek. He pulls back and tilts his head. You close your eyes not wanting to see him worrying about you. You feel something wet slide across your face. You jump and open your eyes to see gamzee just licked your cheek. "Eww" you push at him and giggle. His smile returns "now what the motherfuck is wrong lil mama" he asks threatening me with his dog like licks. I sigh "I just don't want to bother you". He brings his lips to my forehead "well I like when you all up and talk to me so don't motherfucking worry". You smile and nuzzle your face into his chest. You take in the smell of sopor pie, faygo and face paint. "You can't motherfucking sleep huh" he asks always knowing exactly what was wrong. You nod and wrap your arms around him. He begins to sing "hush little baby don't you cry". You giggle at his scratchy voice and hold onto him tighter. As funny as he sounded you begin to relax. He finishes up the short jingle "mamas gonna buy you a diamond ring". As silly as the attempt was his voice itself, heavies your eyes. He rubs your back and you feel yourself drift away.

Your eyes flutter open and you see your phone light up with a message On the table beside you. You reach for it careful not to disturb gamzee. Gamzee's arm shifts slightly "please no one motherfucking leave me no more". He shuffles in his sleep. You look at him sadly and cuddle closer "I'm not going anywhere". A content smile crosses his sleepy face. You fall asleep in the only place you could... Snuggled in your clowns arms
