Wendy Darling

Imagine: Peter bringing Wendy onto the island. (Very original, I know)

You weren't one to judge people very harshly. You had this little moral policy to get to know someone before you decided to hate them, it was just something you always promised yourself.

However, that policy was quick to shatter the moment you met Wendy Darling.

Wendy was this ditzy little airhead that was so hung up on her "love" for Peter Pan that she often portrayed herself as a b***h.

The girl hated the Lost Boys, she always sneered when one of the boys tried to ask her a question. Wendy never sat with them around the camp fire, never trained with them, heck, she barely even looked at them.

That was fairly sketchy in your eyes, seriously, how can one live on Neverland (Wendy refused to leave, much to your dissatisfaction) and not like the Lost Boys. Plus, she literally could not do anything; fight, hunt, build, swim...She was practically useless.

But, unfortunately, throwing her off Neverland wasn't your decision. Peter decided who went and who stayed and so far he hasn't kicked Wendy off his island.

"Hey, (Y/N)?"

You had been casually sharpening one of your knives when the soft voice pulled you out of your small trance. A scowl pulled at the corners of your lips, the grip on your knife tightened. "Yes, Wendy?" You tried not to spit out the name, you really did, but you just couldn't help it; it was like acid on your tongue.

The sound of leaves and sticks crunching let you know the blonde had gotten closer to you. "Um, what are you doing?"

Trying not to stab you with my very pointy knife. "What does it look like I am doing?"

"Right, stupid question..." She trailed off.

Finally, you let out a sigh and turned towards her. "Was there an actual point to this conversation or are you trying to annoy me?" You were being rude, not that you cared about hurting her feelings, but you knew you should dial it back just a little bit.

Wendy let out an uncomfortable laugh, intertwining her own fingers together. You couldn't help but notice her hand were free from any dirt or callouses, whilst everyone else on this island, including yourself, had hands that were toughened up from years of hard work and abuse. "I just wanted to let you know that Peter said to tell you that you needed to take a few of the Lost Boys and find dinner." Her eye flickered nervously to the knife you had started twirling carelessly in your hand.

"Dinner?" You question, raising an eyebrow. "The boys already killed a hog for tonight."

"U-uh, Slightly and Tootles accidentally burnt it."

You gave her a blank stare. "And that's going to stop us from eating it how?" Nothing ever went to waste here, you couldn't afford to. Also, it's pretty hard to burn a complete hog over and open fire, seeing as you had continuously turn it and even if you forgot only one side would burn. "Wait. Who the hełł let Tootles near the food? He's only four."

She shrugged. "He told me he wanted to help so I let him."

So, that was a lie. You knew that Tootles hated Wendy even more you did. There is no way he willingly talk to the girl. "Yeah, okay. I'll go talk to Pan about it."

"He's not here!" She spit out quickly.

Okay, now you were done. "Pan is always here. If you haven't noticed, Pan has this shadow-you do know what a shadow is, correct?" Your smile was so fake it could have been plastic, "and this shadow does what ever Pan wants it to. Meaning, he doesn't have to leave the island."

She pressed her lips together. "Well Pan wanted you to-"

Sighing, you lean against a tree and slip your knife into the sheath on your hip. "So you're his messenger now? What happened? You got tired of playing lap dog?"

You marveled at the sight of Wendy getting irritated. Her fist were clenched and her eyes got narrow. "What is your problem?"

"You, Darling, are my problem." You weren't even ashamed to say it to her face. Wendy had crossed you way too many times. "You've been here for, what? A month at best? I've been here since Pan first created Neverland. Stop acting like you know the boys better than me."

She acted like she wanted to say more, put you held up a hand to stop her. "I wasn't finished." You dropped your hand and pushed off the tree. "Now, if you want dinner so badly, you go get it." Looking to your left, you spot an spear. "Here, I'll even lend you a weapon."

Wendy looks at the spear, then back at you. "Wait till Peter hears that you were defying orders." She turns on her heel and stomps away.

"Well that was eventful."

The corner of your mouth twitches into a half smile as familiar arms wrap themselves around your waist. "Please tell me you're getting Felix to take her on a nice little hunting trip."

Peter's lip brush against your ear. You felt his smirk. "Already ahead of you."

You twist your head to look into Peter's beautiful green eyes. "Shall we go make sure she has a successful evening?" Sarcasm dripped through ever syllable you spoke.

Mischief swarmed his features. "We shall." His hand intertwined with yours as he teleported out of the area.

"Alright, boys!" All commotion in the camp stopped at an instant Peter opened his mouth. "I've got a new game for you to play."

The Lost Boys immediately got excited, talking over each other to ask Peter questions. Said male held up a fist and the chatter ceased once again. "This game is a special game."

"How so?" Caleb, a young boy around twelve, asked.

Peter laughed, "I'm glad you asked." He leaned against his spear and placed his free hand on hip. "This game is called: Capture the Wendy Bird." (Movie reference😜)

Slightly, who had been sitting down on a log, looked up in interest. "The objective?"

"Finding Wendy Darling." It was you who spoke up this time. "Felix and Nibs have taken Wendy to a random part of this island. Your job is to find her. The game starts when Felix and Nibs come back."

"Any rules?" Another boy asked.

Peter glanced at the forest and then back at the boys. "Try not to hit any vital organs."
