The Gun

Sadies P.O.V

I was watching my sister bang on that door and I couldnt do anything about it. I heard before I saw it. It went off and then my sister fell. I didn't see my sister for days then something happened.

Kenzies P.O.V

It hit my shoulder and I fell back in udder pain. I was shocked that such a seductive stranger could do something so horrifying.

It was later. I woke up, somewhere. I heard something but thought it was a hallucination. It wasn't, as I found out later. The gun, it had changed everything. As I was thinking that Max entered the room. Sobbing, it was the first time I'd heard him cry. I rudely asked him "What you sad cause you shot me"? He just screams "STOP YOU FILTHY ANIMAL". I was shocked to his reply after this "Yes, I'm very sorry". I wanted to believe him, but should I? I did. And yet I still didn't know about the outside. I looked over to see a small gun wound where Max had shot me. Everyday it was a Constant reminder of the sickness and seductiveness of this man, the seductive Stranger. As we stayed he became more of a love interest then just a stranger. Sadie didn't like it, but I did. I was enjoying life, until that fateful night.
We were watching a movie, Vacancy, I believe. It was getting to a good part and me and Max were snuggled up, whilse sadie sat somewhat alone. At this point I guess you could say me and max were "lovers". Sadie heard it before I saw it. An older man Standing at the door, banging, creepily singing with a raspy voice. Its all I can do not to run away, but max had told me to stay put. I, of course obliged to his commands. It got worse when he started to reach for a gun. I could see it. It was getting closer to the door as I was doing the opposite. Max runs over with his gun aimed at this assailant. The two lower their weapons in recognition. He explains "You have no suit". I couldn't hear the reply through the door. The next thing that happened was shocking. He let this guy in. I asked "What the heck are you doin let him in?"
He points "Him".
I just stand and say "Of course".
He opens the door and let's him in.
I ask him again, with more anger "Why.... I get cut off.
"Kenzie I would like you too meet my grandpa William Nellow Howard". "Together we would like to tell you something, the world that you know outside", William jumps in, "is no more".
I ask "So wheres the creator?"
"Who"?
In a trailing off voice "God, my creator".
They laugh and I do not think its funny.
Two things happened that night, his grandpa could have infected us all and he completely dissed my religion. I didn't really know Max anymore. It got to the point where sadie and max were "lovers", and Max just forgot I was even there. I guess you could really say the gun changed everything. Everything I knew about this guy and more. The gun. The gun. The gun. The gun, I just kept repeating. For gods sake he shot me and I still went back to him, now sadie. It was getting ridiculous. I didn't understand anything. Then William got involved.
