City of broken dreams

They reached the door, clary out of breath, while next to her Jace seems completely fine. Clary looks up at Jace, noticing that he is laughing silently at her. "what?"  Clary said laughing at herself. "nothing, its just your so pooped" Jace said trying to control his laughing. "whatever lightwood" she said smiling. "No offence Fray but i think you should take a shower" clary glared at Jace "whatever." Clary closes the door in Jace’s face, and goes too have a shower. 

After she turned off the tap, clary stepped out into the steaming bathroom, towel drying her hair, then followed by the rest of her body. She slowly gets dressed then wondering where Jace has gone off to. She threw on a pair of black and green, pyjama shorts and a black singlet, before she leaves her bedroom, to find Jace. She wondered around for a few minutes, when she found him standing in the Institutes library. Why is he in the library by himself?. Clary thought it would be a god idea to sneak up on Jace, as she began to sneak forward, she heard laughing, but not a familiar laugh, it was not Jace's laugh but in fact a laugh of a girl. Before she knew it two hand appeared around Jace's neck, and moving through his golden hair much like the way Clary would when she were kissing Jace. It did not take Clary long to realised what was going on. 

Oh my god! He is cheating on me, right in front of my eyes! Clary was standing there trying to decide how to react, but then without thinking, Clary began walking toward Jace and his mystery slut. Then in less than a minute she was standing right behind Jace, she saw the way he was kissing her, it was much like the way he and Clary used to kiss. Her heart was breaking, she decided she couldn’t take this awful heart break any longer. Without her knowing all of a sudden she made another impulsive move, she had actually grabbed the girls hands and thrown them away from Jace’s next. 

With Jace realising while in the middle of turning Jace was mumbling words that only Clary would be able to make out. "I swear Izzy if that’s you i am going to kill you for interrupting, a guy needs his privacy." Jace then finished his circle too see who had interrupted him, and by his surprise it was clary. For  a while they stood there looking at each other, Jace not knowing what to say or how to react. "Clary, i thought you were.." Clary interrupted him. "Asleep?" While saying this she slapped Jace across the face hard, him being unexpected he hit the floor.  

Clary began to walk away. "Clary wait! I can explain!" Jace was pleading. "Why should I even bother Jace, nothing you can say will change what I just witnessed! how long has this been going on for? do you even love me? Your such an asshole! i never want to." Jace interrupted "Of course I love you" the girl on the floor made a rude sound, Jace rolled his eyes and continued. "it has only been going on for about a month" "A month! you have been lying to me for a month! you have got to be kidding me!" Clary had to use all her strength not to cry. Without her noticing she had been yelling and it had drawn attention to the others at the house. at the library door appeared, Izzy and Alec both looking very confused. "What going on?" Alec questioned to Jace. "Nothing" Jace replied not really thinking about what he had just said. "Nothing! you call this nothing?, You wanna know what happened Alec? I just walked in on your best friend with his tongue in that bitches mouth!" Clary felt she was about to fall, felling her legs slowly collapse, then she heard gasps coming from Izzy and Alec. 

Clary could not take it anymore, she used all the energy she had and  sprinted for the door way, she could hear Jace screaming her name, but she was ignoring it, because she knew if she looked at him she would completely fall apart. 

Jace began running but was stopped by Izzy when he reached the door way because she had slapped him. Jace did not respond because he knew he deserved it, all he could think about was what he had just done. What did i do, did i just completely ruined Clary, i can never forgive myself if something happened to her. What was i thinking!? 

Clary stopped running when she reached her room, she burst in the door tears running down her face, she threw open her bedroom closet, throwing all her clothes in, once she had finished with her clothing, she moved on the bathroom, and was soon finished. When it come to a picture of her and Jace, they were so happy in this photo, they were both smiling. She picked it up and went to throw it on the ground but couldn't bring herself to do it. What’s wrong with me, this boy just broke my heart, and I can’t even bring it to myself to break a stupid photo! I have to leave here, I can't Stand being around Jace not now, maybe not ever. I have nowhere to go.  

Izzy, was coming up the stairs fast, not fast enough to be running but almost. when she reached clary's door, she could hear crying, this hurt Izzy, over the past few months her and Clary had really began to become a lot closer, they were practically sisters. They told each other everything. and to think that her best friend was in there crying broke her. She stopped thinking about this and clamed herself before knocking on the door, although there was no answer, so she knocked again this time calling clary's name. "Clary, it me Izzy, I am here for you, come on please open up i am worried" 

I can't let Izzy in, I can't tell anyone where i am going, i don't want them to find me . I have to leave before she finds a way into this room! The window! Clary headed towards the window, and then she noticed she was still wearing the Morgenstern ring that Jace had given to Clary. She took the ring of and put it in front of the picture of the two f them, before moving quickly back out the window. 

Izzy was tired of waiting and remembered the secret key, she bent down and looked behind the pot plant out front of Clary’s door. "I am coming in wether you like it or not Fray." Izzy confessed. She walked in and saw the room was empty, all except the photo of Jace and clary, and the ring.  "Jace!" Izzy screamed with such anger. both boys came running into the room. "What is it Iz?" Alec asked. "Jace, you idiot! What you did was so stupid i thought you loved her! Look around you stupid act has made Clary run away!" Izzy had already started crying.
