Chapter 2

Mom's POV
WHO IS GOING TO LOOK AFTER HER?

Alessia's mom thought that maybe Alessia could stay with an English family. So she had another idea: maybe she could ask at the head teacher if one of the family of his students is willing to look after her.
So she sent another email to the head teacher and after 2 days, he answered:

Dear Mrs. Helcher
I'm glad to tell you that I already asked to all my students if they are willing to do what you asked me.
The 35% of them said that they could do that but Alessia have to make the decision. Down below I'll leave you their photos and their reasons why they'd like Alessia to stay with them. Send me the next email when she will have decided which one.

Mom' POV
But now I have no idea how I'm gonna let her choose one of them because this must be a surprise! But I think that I'm gonna do something...

Alessia's POV
I'm in my room, I just finished my homework and I'm playing the song "Faded" at the piano, when my mom knocks at the door.

Alessia: Come in!
(Door opens)
Mom: Hi honey!
Alessia: Hey mom!
Mom: What are you doing?
Alessia: Um...I'm trying to learn how to play this song...there are a looooot of difficult notes!
(Alessia looking at her with a strange look)
Alessia: Are u okay mom? You seem a lil but nervous... you drank too much coffee didn't you?
Mom: No,no honey! Everything is fine... it's just that I wanted to hear your opinion because a group of my students are going in England and they're going to stay with an English family which have a boy or a girl that is almost the same age,for a year, and they asked me an advice about which one they should choose. So, if you'd be one of my students, who you're going to choose? Remember to read the descriptions.
Alessia looks at every single person  and after a while she says...
Alessia: I'm going to choose this one...um... her name's Kimberley! I also read the description and she seems very cool!
(Alessia sighs)
Alessia: You have no idea how much I'd like to be one of your students so I could move to England too...
Mom: (with a huge smile on her face) you're going to! Don't worry!
