Lauren's POV

So it's been a week now that I didn't talk to Angela and Bryan, even though both of them, but mostly Angela, called me, text me and always try to talk to me at school, I always ignore them and I think it's better.

Falling out of love is hard but falling for betrayal is worst.

So today is Saturday and I'm with Kaylie in the park, just walking around.

Kaylie has always been there for me and that's why she is my one and only real best friends. Jason and Max are my best friends too but Kaylie is like....my 6th sister, haha.

"So do you like him?" Kaylie asked me out of the blue.

"Like who?" I asked confused

"C'mon Laur! Max, of course! So, do you like him?" she said, smirking.

I blushed slightly when she said Max. "Yeah, like one of my best friends or like a brother if you want." I don't think that I liked him just as a best friend, maybe a LITTLE more.

"Sure. But translated from girls' language, I think that it means 'I have a total crush on him'," she exclaimed, singing the last part.

"What?! No, I don't. He's a really cute...i mean cool guy but I don't think he even likes me and I don't even have a crush on him, okay?!"

I said trying to defend myself but Kaylie knows me so well, I can't even hide my feelings.

"See you said cute guy. Laur, c'mon spill it. I know you do have some feelings for him, you know you can't hide it from me eternally, right?"

The worst in it was that she was right maybe I do have some feelings for Max. I mean all those sweet things he did for me. But I know he can't like a girl like me.

"Hey girls! Whatcha two doing here?" My thoughts was cut by a handsome guy running towards us.

"So girls, what are you up to?" Max asked us, waving to his brother to come.

Max's POV

"Fine, we're just chillin' you know, the usual. What about you watcha doing here?" Kaylie asked me

"Morning workout. I'm almost finished so you girls can come home and we'll have a movie session? I can call Jason and tell him to come home."

I looked at Lauren and smiled and she smiled back and said: "Great idea! We'll be there. See you in some minutes so?"

"Yeah see ya." We waved to the girls and did our jogging back home.

Suddenly James asked me out of the blue: "You like Lauren right?"

I don't know why but I felt my heart beating so fast every time I hear her name and I blush also.

"What?! Like, umm, just a friend. Why are you asking me so much questions?! What about you, you like Katherine right??"

"Wow! Bro calm down. I'll take your reaction as a yes. Ahh my little brother is finally in love. And about Katherine, it's different...." i cut him off, smirked and said: "It's not different, you LOVE her James, admit it please."

He looked at me with a wide smile and said, "So I was right you do like Lauren. I knew it!"

"Shut up and let's go prepare everything before the girls and Jason come." Woo, finally ended this conversation. We headed home and prepared all the pillows, made popcorns and put different bowls full of snacks and sweets.
