You know that feeling in your stomach when your nervous? Like, you have butterflies in your stomach that just won't go away? Well, that's how I felt. I'm 17 years old, and already moving away from my parents.
I got a scholarship from the best high school in the world, Avem Academy. The only thing is, is that it's located on the other side of the world! I know, sounds crazy, right? I mean, a 17 year old girl going out on her own to an unknown territory? Scary.
Anyways, I guess I should tell you about myself. My mother named me Raven, she always used to say how free spirited I was. I guess that's why she named me after a bird.. Though I don't mind, I actually like my name.
I have long brown hair, freckles, and big green eyes. People always considered to be tall and skinny. I love to do things like reading, writing, painting, kayaking, skiing, and studying. Seems like a weird combination, right?I've never been someone who was titled "popular" or a "jock" in my school. Since I was shy, I only had two good friends. We were friends ever since elementary school. Ava was the happiest one in our small group of friends. She always seemed to cheery, and her smile could just light up your day. Mika, on the other hand, is my other closest friend. She seems a little cold when you first meet her, but once you get her, she could be the best friend that you ever had.
Now I'm leaving it all behind, and moving to another country. I guess I'm not really that sad about it though. I'm actually kind of excited. I currently live in New York, but since my school is in New Zealand, I'll be living there for about 9 months.
I wonder what adventures it will bring..?
