Hey all! I know it's been awhile, and I've had like seven stories to update, but lately my mental health hasn't been that great, and I've taken a break from most of my social media. Fortunately, I've been writing a lot. Mainly, Scisaac angst prompts, 😬 #SorryNotSorry. I'm actually so obsessed with them, okay?

Enjoy. 😊

"Don't let go," Isaac begged, clinging onto Scott like a drowning cat. "Please, don't let go."
"I won't." Scott assured, holding him close. "I won't." Wet, fresh blood stuck to Scott's shirt as he hugged Isaac tighter. Isaac was barely able to catch his breath
"Where does it hurt?" Scott whispered into his ear softly. Stay calm. He told himself. Stay calm for Isaac.
Isaac spoke through short, labored sentences. "Everywhere." Blood poured out of his wound, and gathered around his lips. Red liquid stained his teeth like coffee. Isaac whined pathetically as Scott took his pain, but it didn't even come close to stop his bleeding. The rest of the pack watched the two, absolutely horrified.
Hot tears streamed down Isaac's cheeks, he smelt like fear and pain. Scott's chest was soaked with Isaac's blood, but he didn't care. He couldn't freak out. But Isaac was going to be okay, right? Right. Of course he was going to be okay. Loose splatters of scarlet dripped to the ground. Isaac dug his head deeper in Scott's shoulder as he tried again, and again, to take his pain. Scott cried out in agony, and Isaac shut his eyes tight. It gave Isaac temporary relief, but it didn't last long.
"It's not... It's not working," Isaac was barely audible.
"It will. It will."  Will was Scott trying to convince? Once again, Scott squeezed him tighter, trying to absorb every ounce of suffering the other boy felt. Scott screamed, but pushed through it. Soft tears slid down Lydia's face, Allison's hand fell over her mouth. Only when Isaac gently put his hand over Scott's, did he stop trying
"It's okay.."
"Isaac-"
"It's.. okay.." he wheezed.
Scott was trying hard not to cry. It wasn't his time, not yet. Not ever.
"Sing for me..." Isaac whispered.
A soft and sweet memory wafted into Scott's brain.

The early Sunday sun seeped through Scott's window, lighting the room peacefully. He and Isaac lied on his bed, laying perfectly still. As the two gazed into each other's eyes, the world seem to stop. Isaac's eyes were like a bottomless pit of crystallized blue. Scott could search for hours in his eyes, but still never find the bottom.
"Can you sing?" Isaac asked out of the blue.
Scott was a little surprised at the question. "Uh.. I'm guess so. I'm not very good." He shot back.
Isaac fiddled with Scott's hair. "Sing me something."
"What?"
"Pleaseeeee?"
Scott was hopeless when it came to Isaac's begging. He felt like he could never say no.
He sighed in defeat, and started singing a simple verse of "You Are My Sunshine". Halfway through, Isaac started to yawn. Scott, not wanted to bother him further, finished mid-way through the song.
Isaac wrapped his arms around Scott's waist lovingly. "Why did you stop?" He asked sleepily.
"You want me to keep going?"
Isaac nodded into his shirt, and Scott spent the rest of the morning singing to Isaac until his throat was raw and hoarse.

Scott was jarred to reality by Isaac, who violently puked blood all over the back of his shirt. Scott rubbed his back tenderly. Isaac struggled through several apologizes.
"No," he finally answered firmly, Scott's voice was starting to tremble. "I know what you're thinking, and no."
Isaac smiled softly. "Please..."
A single tear made its way down Scott's face. Once again, he could never say no. He took a large, shakily inhale, and began to quietly sing.
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine." Isaac stopped shaking furiously, and relaxed into his arms, his breathing becoming steadier.
"You make me happy when skies are grey. You'll never know, dear, how much I love you," Scott kissed the top of Isaac's head gingerly, tears pouring viously down his face. Isaac mumbled a chorus of "it's okay."

But it wasn't.

"Please don't take my sunshine away," Scott croaked out. Isaac's breathing slowed to a stop, and Scott held him tighter. Scott listened to his heart.
Thump.. thump.. thump.... thump.... ......
With every final beat, Scott felt like he was dying with him. He rocked Isaac's body back and forth, as if he were a small child. No one dared to move forward, nor make a sound, not even Stiles. Scott didn't let go, even when Isaac's blood completely drenched his navy shirt a light black. Even when it started pooling on the ground. Not even when the heat of Isaac's body started to leave him, did Scott let go. Scott repeated the last line of the chorus over and over, until the sound of Isaac's warm breath on the back of his neck was a distant memory.

Whoops.. my finger slipped. More angst prompts later 😊.

(prompt creds to tumblr, because I'm hella unoriginal.)
