Chapter 3 Jackson see my life.

Harmony's POV

" Jackson what are you doing come inside you are going to get sick and it will rain soon." I said with a concerned, and a scared tone and I pull him inside the house.

Jackson's eyes soften once he saw all of my bruises, scars, and cuts.

"I am going to change." I replied

When i turned around I stared to walk to my room Jackson grabbed my shoulder, turned me around hugged me tightly, I hissed because be where my broken ribs where. Then he let go of me.

"I just wanted to know if my baby was okay, now I can see that my baby girl isn't. " Jackson says in a sweet, caring, and gentle voice.

He comes closer and hugs me again, like he didn't want to anyone to take me away.

"How did you know where I live, and what do you mean why didn't I tell anyone anything, I'm fine," I am talking with my head down because I don't want him to see my face, but mostly my eyes .

"Harmony I have been watching you all day from a distance ever since I heard you singing in the piano room in school, and I saw you get beat by your parents, so don't you tell me that your fine in the condition that you are in." Jackson said as if he was upset.

Before I got a chance to speak I turn my head because hear a sound of a door opening. When I got up and started walking, Jackson was confused why I popped up so suddenly, as I got on my knees bracing for impact I see Nadine and Ash running to me crying like someone has tried to capture them. Jackson was so surprised because I heard the door open and he didn't, he only saw the door open .

Nadine was sobbing and told me "Mommy tayo nanaginip tungkol sa muli. Ayaw naming pagkatapos ay bumalik na muli" (Mommy we had a dream about then again. We don't want then to come back again.)

Ash was also crying and I could tell that they were both afraid of mother and father, if they came back home.

I started to talk to them saying "Huwag kang mag-alala dito ay ang mommy at mommy pangako hindi para ipaalam sa anumang masamang mangyayari sa iyo" (Don't worry mommy is here and mommy promise no to let anything bad happen to you.)

After that I sang a lullaby it took me 15 minutes to call them down and fell asleep on me that's when Jackson seems fascinated in my singing then asked me to explain everything him everything.

"Why are your eyes two different colors and why do your parents beat you?" Jackson asked.

"It was a birth defect, I always wore an eye patch over the only ones who know about this is my parents, my sisters, and now you. My parents beat me because they think that I ruined there perfect life because they never wanted kids. I bet you think that I am a freak now that you have seen my eyes, " I say in a scared tone

"No baby, don't think like that, you are beautiful just the way you are" Jackson told me and put me in his warm embrace.

"Can you explain to me why you cover yourself in raps" he asked, and I nodded my head as a yes.

"When I was 6 years-old my so called 'parents' would beat me for no reason, I would be doing nothing or just my chores and then out of no where I would get slap, punched, cut or worse for no good reason. When I got hurt I didn't want my bruises to show so I wear an eye patch, and a mask Then five years-ago my 2 baby sisters were born Nadine ,and Ash my parents didn't care for then like I did at night they would just leave and I would take care of the kids, the bills, the house, basically everything an adult should do.So I got a job at the age of 14, I became a mother figure to them, the girls know that I am their older sister but they call me 'mommy' because of all of the stuff that I do for them, and I don't regret it because I never want to see my parents to lay a hand on them so I take all of the beatings. The girls know Filipino because, before we moved here we lived in the Philippians's. For 3 years we lives there my parents didn't know it so I had to translate it for them. Then we came to America, that is how I know English and Filipino. The only reason why I know Korean is because when we were in the Philippians I had to take a class for extra credit."

Once I had explained everything Jackson was shocked then my parents barged thought the door. Then I see my parents coming, I tell Jackson to hide with the girls and not to come out.

The next day.
Jackson came back to my house again, we talked some more. I explained everything again, everything was fine and happy untill my parents came in.

" YOU LITTLE BRAT WHY IS THERE A MAN IN OUR HOME" my dad yelled and slapped me in the face.

Once my father did I fell to the ground I had no strength to get up, but then I see Jackson pissed off like be was going to murder my parents. Jackson face changed when we saw me and then the girls running to me and talking to me in Filipino. As I force myself to get up the girls were crying and trying to make sure that I was okay.

"Mommy ok ka lang? (Mommy are you okay?) Nadine said trying not to cry.

"Oo mommy ay magiging okay. (Yes mommy will be okay.) I said to make sure they did't worry.

10 minutes straight the girls were crying in my arms.

Jackson's POV

When Harmony pulled me into her house I hugged her and explained everything she just looked confused. When he where talking she didn't notice that I was recording a video and set it to all the gang members and told them to come to my address. Before she could speak she popped up like a bottle cap that flew off the bottle. When I saw her getting on her knees I was confused of what is going on the I a door open more saw two of Harmony's sisters crying with a painful expression on their face. I was surprised of how fast she reacted, she heard the door creek open and I only saw the door open. It was like Harmony knew what was going to happen next .

The next day.
I went back to Harmony's place and she explained everything to me. After 45 minutes of talking and listening.Harmony see someone and rushes me in the closet with the girls. I see the front door fly open and see Harmony's father yell and slap he in the face. I was having a rage of anger until Nadine tugged on my hand and nodded her head no, but I couldn't see my baby girl get hurt like that. I when I look back up I see Harmony on the ground . I get out of the closet, Ash and Nadine were behind me gripping on my pants the then running to Harmony. That is when James came up to me and translated, I was concerned for her because of the impact some of her cuts re opened she she stated bleeding. Once Harmony was done with the girls she rapped up her body.

"Harmony I an going to talk with your parents, start packing up your stuff as well u are coming to live with me, I will have the gang members pack pack the little ones clothes." Before she could say anything back to me I crashed my lips into hers, so she couldn't augur back.

"Okay Jackson" She replied

"Mr. Jackson how can I help you at time at night." her father says in fear.

I replied "I am here to take my princess so that she won't have to get hurt or beat by you again."

As I was going to day something but he beat me to it.

"Why would you pick her, she is good for nothing, she can't do anything correct, she is just a stupid little brat the does nothing around the house." he said

As he was talking I got so mad because he doesn't know what she goes through while him and his wife is perfectly healthy, Harmony is skinny to the bone she also is sick.

I punch the him in the face and yell, "HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT YOU NEVER TOOK CARE OF HER ALL YOU DID WAS TORTURE AND TRAUMATIZE HER DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY."

I left Harmony's so called 'parents' and called a doctor to check on Harmony
