Chap6: bloody moon

Hey guys. Late update I know. My SAO fan fic took forever to write, but I did it. And it was also the longest chapter I've written so far. Anyway, note to you future writers: if you're multitasking books, don't leave a cliffhanger at both at the same time. I causes extreme stress. Like really big stress. And your readers won't like it cause it'll take forever to update. Well, guess I better get started at some point. So les go!

Well isn't this just great. Right when me and Blair were having a moment, this.....dog? Cat? Whatever, I'll just say werewolf. So this,,,,,, thing, jumps out of nowhere at me, right as I'm fixing to kiss my girlfriend. Great timing jerk. But then again it isn't really the, um, dogs fault. It is after all the blood moon. And every monster hunter of any kind knows, that most humans with a virus from kishin or witches go mad when there is a blood moon. Anyway, back on topic. Why me? More importantly, why here? This place is lit up greater than a Fourth of July night. And a werewolf, a creature of the night, comes here and tries to eat me. Wth? The wolf jumps at me again, and I lash out with my chain leg. It somehow flips in midair and dodges it, slamming into me. We fly off the roof to land at the snack bar. People start screaming and running away, except for Spirit and my friends. My friends don't run cause they're dumbstruck, and Spirit because he's still obviously drunk. Idiot.

I get up and wipe off some food from my jacket. The werewolf gets up as well, and then gets a face full of cupcakes shaped like stars. "Hahahaha! Why don't you have some more! Ya look hungry!" I start throwing more random food items, hitting it in the face every time. I'm laughing like crazy, until I run out of food. I stop abruptly, then see the giant "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" star shaped cake. I walk to it and am about to touch it, but outta nowhere Tsubaki comes in, and I accidentally grab her,,,, uuhh,,,. "Oops. Sorry I uh...." She turns cherry red for a minute, then she slaps me and starts screaming at me. "Okay Max! You're going to far! First of all, you can't touch the cake! It's off limits. And second, why can't you control yourself!?!? Sheesh!" I'm about to apologize, but am then knocked over by the wolf. Again. I try to kick it off, but it keeps snapping at my face. It slowly starts to push towards me, getting close enough that it's a millimeter from my nose, till I hear someone yell a name from the sky, distracting the wolf.

"KKIIIIITTTYYYYY!!!!" What? What the hell is that supposed to mean!? I don't really have time to care, so I flip the wolf off me and lash out with my right saw leg. I cut its nose, but as it backs up it instantly heals. Well great. Forgot to pack my silver. I hear that name again, closer this time and feel Claire start shaking. I glance at my sisters soul possessed chain on my right hip, and she quickly blinks some morse code as I dodge another lunge from the wolf. When she's done I groan. "Seriously. That's Marrisa? And everyone else? And the wolf is Kitty isn't she?" She blinks once, then darkens. So hard. Why me? I glance at the sky and see a group of girls flying through the sky with either big butterfly wings, or bat wings. Perfect. Last thing I need is my boss crashing the party as well.

I hear the one with butterfly wings call out my name this time as she lands. "Hey Max. What're you doing here?" I scratch the back of my head, and nervously say. "Oh hey boss! Yea um, hey is that Kitty?" She looks to the wolf that is now growling at a tomboy girl and someone with black angel wings. "Yep, sadly that's Kitty. *sigh*. But don't worry, this is kinda normal on moons like this." How is any of this normal? My boss is a freaking space/time warping fairy, and her best friends are a fallen angel, a werewolf, and a freaking tomboy vampire girl. Then again, if you think about it, it kinda makes sense.

This fairy girl finds something wrong in the timeline starting at this point, and so she comes to here using a portal she creates, and she lands right as Harisu falls from heaven and Jenny(AKA tomboy vampire), and Kitty find her. They meet up here, talk for a bit, tell each other what they are, and start a little cafe down the street together. The Mad Moon cafe. Kinda cliche I know, but you have to give them some credit, those girls can make some mean food. That is, everybody but their main cook Kitty. Marissa has strwberry blonde hair, and wore a white T-shirt that advertised the cafe on the first that I was there along with black skinny jeans. She also wore a pair of pink glasses that had a few flowers on them. she greeted me like anyone would, a sweet hello and a wave of the hand. I walk in, shyly saying as well. Then i hear an explosion in the back, and someone yells out. "MARISSA-CHAN! Help me!" I run to the back, with Marissa close behind. What I find when i open the door is a girl with white hair, dressed in the same outfit as Marissa, trying to put out a brown haired girl with freckles that was on fire. That was Harisu trying to put out Kitty, while Jenny with her black hair down simply sat on a nearby stool and laughed. I ran to the faucet and tried to turn the cool water nob, but it broke and shot me continually in the face. I jump up on top of the sink itself and bend the nozzle to point at Kitty, and when I'm sure all of the fire's out, I twist the nozzle until it's winched up enough so that it only leaks a bit. Kitty is still on her legs and knees, but instead of on fire, she's soaking wet. Oops. She looks at me and her eyes are a little brown, but then there are something's in hers that are like mine. Like the fact that when you look a little while, you see small silver and gold flecks in them. She notices me staring and blushes, but quickly gets up and wipes some soot off of her ripped black blue jeans. "Uh, thanks. Who're you, may I ask?" Yep, she's a tomboy. -Ish. "Oh, I'm the guy who wanted that job offering that you guys put in the paper. I'm a friend of Aya's. That name ring a bell?" They all smile a bit and nod, then Jenny starts to talk, as she stands up and brushes her black hair out from in front of her multi pierced ear. "So, Marissa. Does he make the cut? Because I certainly approve." She winks at me and grins, and I see one of her teeth on the side is longer than the rest. And pointer to.
