Chap14: Kid vs Kid

How about that ending, huh? Yea, I know. Wasn't sure if I should put Billy in or not. But then I thought "eh, what the heck. I'm Texan. It's a fanfic. More importantly it's MY, fanfic." Plus, he's not the only one joining us. In fact you've already met another mass murderer IRL in the soul eater story, and probably didn't realize it. Jack the Ripper, who all of us met on our first soul eater episode, was a real live person. Well....... "person" would be stretching it a bit. More like a monster. He was also known as the "white chapel murderer" and did his work in London. He killed, raped, and also most of his victims started out with prostitutes. But he soon became more daring and started killing innocent women who wandered the streets at night. He was deemed the ripper because with a few of his victims he actually cut them open and strung their internals all over the crime scene. That is also why in soul eater his arms are actually a bunch of blades. And Billy the Kid was one of the greatest Texas robbers and criminals. He has a record for the most trains robbed successfully. I will add a few more to this list, and if you guys have any ideas for more criminals/kishin I should add in here, please share some ideas with me. So anyway, let's move on with the story.

Max's POV

"Okay. That was uh, unexpected." Everyone looks at me like I'm crazy. Well, maybe they were right. Kid looks at me angrily. "Who was that guy?" I sigh, rubbing my head where the door of the coffin had hit me. "His name is Billy the kid. He was a famous Texas outlaw that went on a murder spree sometime around the Texas revolution. That was when law and order were the least of their problems, what with the entire Mexican army marching right over their bases." Kid nods, satisfied for now. Patti suddenly jumps in, waving her hands around. "Oh oh! I have a question!" I sigh as she raises her hand like she's a kindergarden student. "Yes Patti?" "Um, why were his eyes purple?"

I'm taken back by this. Why were his eyes purple? Last I checked, Billy had brown eyes. I think for a bit and pace, rubbing my chin and mumbling to myself. I have an idea that I'm about to share with everyone, until suddenly we hear a blood curdling scream. Kid's eyes widen, and he grabs Liz and Patti as they transform and rushes down a pathway that had suddenly opened. "Aya!" Everyone tries to run after him, but as soon as he enters the pathway it closes up, leaving nothing but a black wall and no sign of a passage being there was left. We all hear another scream and go into a circle, as doors all around open up and dozens of purple eyes stare at us from the dark, hungrily. "Oh boy. This isn't good." I flip on my helmet and rev up my chain legs as the first wave of kishin children come, bone claws and razor teeth ready for blood.

Kid's POV

"Aya! Where are you!" "Kid! Calm down!" Liz doesn't understand. I have to find her! "Aya!" I hear Liz sigh and say something to Patti but I'm not even paying attention anymore as I try to find Aya. "Where are you!?" I feel something slam into my cheek and I'm thrown against the wall. I rub it and mutter. "Ow." Patti laughs as she brings her arm back for another punch. I quickly hold up my hands to stop her. "Wait! Wait! Patti, I'm fine! Stop it!" She stops right as she's about to swing and leans down to scrutinize my face. She wrinkles her nose at me and quickly pinching it and standing back up. "Wow Kid. When was the last time you took a shower?" I sigh as I sit up and rub my cheek again. "Yesterday. I think. Where's Liz at?" She steps out from behind Patti and smiles nervously. "Here. Sorry, but this place is kinda giving me the creeps." Oh, now it creeps you out. I sit up and start to walk in the direction we were headed. "Don't worry. As soon as we find Aya and meet up with everyone else, we'll stick together and find a way out of here." Patti grins and turns to Liz. "He mentioned Aya again. Does that mean I can hit him again sis?" I get a tick mark as I look at her angrily. "Just because I say her name doesn't mean that I'm obsessed with her like before you hit me." Liz grins.

"Well what if when we find her she's naked?" My face heats up. "W-what?" Liz smiles and saunters over to me. "You heard me." My face heats up more as images pop into my head that I know shouldn't be there. "I'd, um. I'd let you two take care of it and make sure she's covered up before I go in there and help you guys get her out." Liz grins wider as Patti seems to catch on and smiles with her. "But what if we end up separated from you on the way over there?" What? "What kind of stupid question is that?" Liz shrugs and starts to walk ahead of me. "It was just a question to see if you were in your right mind." Suddenly a group of bats drop down on her and she screams as she tries to swat them off. Oh boy. This is gonna take forever. Patti laughs as she starts to run circles around Liz and wave her hands around wildly.
