Olivia's P.O.V. Recap: "Well I like this really cute girl and her name is..."
"Is...?"
"Just kidding I don't have a crush!" He said laughing.
Thank god! Wait why do I care? I don't. I mean he's cute and smart.
"After what happened at my old school...there no way." I accidentally said out loud.
"What happened at your old school?"
"Well- I mean-" I was cut off by his dad.
"Harvey, could you go- Wait, Olivia!?"
"Hey Paul! It's been...Like a couple hours?"
"Yeah...Anyway, Harvey could you go take out the dog?"
"Sure dad, I'll be right back Liv." He said walking downstairs as Max walked in.
"Hey, I didn't know you were here."
"I didn't think you cared?" I asked as a light shade of pink appeared on his cheeks.
"I-I don't. Anyway have you-" He was cut off by a very furious yell.
"OLIVIA WOODS WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU!!!???" Lacey screamed from my room.
I was scared shitless. I'm surprised the house isn't burned down.
"Max...I got to go. My sister is looking for me?"
"Your not going home are you?"
"Haha, hell no. I'm not being alone with that bitch."
"Let's go hang out. I'll take you somewhere special."
"Thanks Max...but what about Harvey?"
"He will figure out sooner or later that we're gone. Cmon!" He said grabbing my arm.
Before I knew it Max and I were running down a hill. I stopped at the beautiful sight I was witnessing.

"I go here to think." Max said gesturing me to sit beside him.
"Woah...This is..."
"Beautiful? Like you." He said flirtatiously.
"Max...I don't get you. This view shows the ora of a peaceful calm patient person...and you compliment me...That shows kindness and that you care. Earlier...you didn't seem the nicest. I don't know what to think of you?"
"Just...for now...think of me as your pillow..." He said sweetly as I laid my head on his shoulder.
Wait- What am I doing? I like Harvey...Wait omg I didn't say that...Do I? I don't know...Jasmine likes Max...It should all work out. Maybe? Ugh I don't know!
"Olivia?" Max said looking into my eyes.
"Yes?"
"Do you want to head back home?"
"I'd like that please." I said while he helped me up.
(At Home)
"Thanks Max...You really cleared my mind. Today you helped me." I said giving him a hug.
"Anytime Liv." He said walking away.
I opened the door and there was my mother. It was late so I didn't give a shit.
"Young lady where were you?!" She said in a furious voice.
I just shrugged my shoulders and walked upstairs.
"Don't ignore me!" She said walking after me.
Luckily my door can lock itself from either side so I locked myself in my room. My mother wouldn't understand the shit Lacey puts me through. I hate them both.
"Open this door immediately!" She said banging on the door.
"Why should I? So Lacey can tell you lies. So you can take away my only freedom. So you can make my life a living hell? I don't think you understand half the shit you've put me through since dad left!" I said. I purposely mentioned dad, her weakness.
I added on," You know what I can't take this anymore!" I said. I took out the knife I had in my room and starting cutting myself. I was screaming and crying from the pain. It soon made me forget about all the pain I felt inside, rather then the pain I felt on the outside.
"Olivia? Olivia! Stop! Are you okay?!" She said worriedly.
"ITS ABOUT TIME YOU GIVE A SHIT ABOUT SOMEONE BESIDES YOURSELF!!!" I screamed.
I walked over and unlocked my door and quickly ran into my bathroom and locked that. There was a trail of blood and I think I made Lacey as worried as fuck. I liked this. Not the pain I felt but the fact that I know that my family actually does give a damn about me.
I cleaned up all the blood and wrapped the cuts. I fell asleep in the bathroom soon after.
(The Next Morning)
YUSS ITS FRIDAY! I walked out of my bathroom to find Lacey laying against the door. Was she waiting for me? Wait! Ha- It's only 3:49 A.M. I'm going to go on a little adventure.
I quietly slipped down the steps and grabbed a bag. I packed some snacks, a pair of clothes for school, a flashlight, and a rope. Why a rope you ask? Well I'm on an adventure to find a secret hide out.
I entered the forests near the lake that Max showed me. I was deep in the woods. I looked up and out of the odds...I found a beautiful tree house. It was lit up...It was astonishing.

Being me, I wanted to explore it. It was strange...I felt like it was calling me. I slowly crept up the pathway and entered through the large doorway. I saw someone. They had a black hoodie on.
"H-Hello?" I said as they slowly turned around.
"What is your business here?" They asked in a raspy voice. It was a girl that's all I knew.
"I'm exploring..."
"At 4:12 in the morning? What do you need?"
"Like I said I was exploring."
"Olivia?"
"How do you know my name?"
She turned around.
"You?"
