Chapter 5

Olivia's P.O.V.
"You? Jasmine what are you doing here?"

"Uh~ This is my secret hideout? I'm staying here tonight? Obviously!"

"Oh-Uh? Sorry?" I said more like a question. It wasn't my fault I didn't know a thirteen year old girl was staying in a cabin in the middle of the woods on a Friday?

"What is your business here?"

"Can I stay the night? I...I don't like home."

"Yepper. Make yourself at home. I have an extra room upstairs on the left. It all yours. Goodnight."

"Goodnight Jasmine." I said as I was walking upstairs. I took a left and went into the guest room. It was good quality for how the cabin was altogether.

(The Next Morning.)

I got up and got ready for school. I was almost out the door until Jasmine caught up with me.

"Ready to go?" She said taking out her key.

"Yep!" I said while she locked the door behind us.

I was walking into the neighborhood from the woods when I was engulfed in a hug.

"Where were you?!" Lacey said looking me dead in the eye while holding my shoulders.

"Uh- Far away from you!" I said walking off.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm walking to school because a bitch like you won't wait for me. Save it, I don't want to hear your excuses." I said walking towards the school. I felt unloved by my family. I miss my dad and I wish he would come back.

(At School)

I walked towards my locker and Harvey walked up to me.

"Everything okay?"

I wanted to say hell no but my problems aren't his. That's why their called "my problems".

"Well, things at home have been a bit rough. That's it though, how about you?"

"Olivia...you have something by your lip." He said completely ignoring my question.

"Oh sorry, that must've been from the pop tart I ate this morning." I said giggling as I went to wipe it off.

"I got it." He says lightly brushing his thumb against my lip. After that we just stared at each other.

"Thanks..." I said blushing. I think I'm falling for him. I mean he's cute, sweet, smart...What else do I have yet to discover.

"Olivia...My eyes are up here." He said laughing.

"Oh! Sorry I was ju-" he cut me off.

"It's fine. You were thinking of something else. I totally understand." He said playfully punching me in the shoulder.

(Bell ~ First Period: English)

"Sorry...That's the bell! See you later." I said waving to him in the hall.

I arrived in class and I was sitting my two very obnoxious girls. Maybe one of them was Felicia or Gracie? The girls that Jasmine told me about in lunch!
