I had the music blasting through my room and I was working on my new routine I made up yesterday when I got a text from my mom saying that I need to come downstairs. I turned the music off and made my way to the kitchen and I saw my mom sitting by the counter.
"Hey mom what is it" I asked her as I grabbed a cookie and popped it in my mouth.
"sweet heart promise you won't freak out when I tell you", she asked kind of nervous I wonder what about.
" No why would I freak out ", I said and gave her reassuring smile.
" well I got layed off today and I don't have enough money to support you so you will have to move in with your uncle Geo in New Jersey " she said.
" what no please don't send me back there please mom" I said as tears threatened to spill.
" I'm sorry Katie but you leave tomorrow morning at 5am", She said I just ran up the stairs and slammed my door. I put my alarm on for 4 in the morning I took a shower and got dressed in my Pajamas and once my head hit the pillow I was out like a light.
