hobihope: i think that people have to create paradise for themselves. a paradise on earth wouldn't be a lasting thing, as the way our world is set up it's not going to let you survive in a paradise, but it could be there for a short amount of time. you'd have to work for it, maybe with someone you love, but i think it's possible to achieve.

starsabove: i see

starsabove: i'd have to disagree. i don't think paradise on earth would be possible. you'd never feel truly at peace or in paradise, knowing it won't last. and creating paradise for yourself probably wouldn't work either. we, as humans, are constantly wishing for something more, never entirely happy. a paradise just isn't realistic, no matter how close we may get.

hobihope: i see what you mean, but i still think it's possible to make a paradise for yourself. you have to want it and work, but it's possible. if you try to make yourself happy, just work and try. it can happen.

starsabove: but is truly trying and working to make yourself happy possible? can a human really bring themselves to just be happy and not care if it won't last or what it took to get there or something else? and if so, is it worth it? for after they get their paradise and it ends, which is likely a once in a lifetime opportunity, wouldn't it hurt the person, knowing it's over forever? they were happy for that short amount of time and they'll never feel the same way again. is it worth it?

hobihope: even if they'll never feel the same way again, they'd be able to look back at that time with a smile on their face. they can't feel the same, but they can remember the feeling. i wouldn't regret having a time in my life where i was just purely happy with the person i love. i think that would be great to experience at least once in my life.

hobihope: and i think it is possible to let yourself forget everything else for a while and just be happy. it would probably take some time to practice it and get used to it, but i think it's possible.
