...in the kingdom of Albuquerque lived a beautiful princess named Athena. She lived with her parents, King Brandon and Queen Kerry, and her older brother Eric. Athena and Eric's maternal grandparents, Lucia and Miles, lived in the castle with them.
Athena loved to play sports, put together puzzles, play darts, bake, do paper mache, dance ballet, play chess, do pottery, make candles, sketch, sew, read books, paint, sing, and cook. But her most favorite thing to do is ride flying horses with Eric.
It was Athena's 16th birthday, and Kerry gave her a special gift: the Amulet of Albuquerque. This magical ruby orange Amulet was a family heirloom passed down from generation to generation, and this magical jewel would always protect her from harm.
The kingdom was full of joy and love. The pure joy of song filled life in Albuquerque. But even the brightest days can be darkened by an unseen tempest.
