It had been several years since the attack in Albuquerque. The Amulet ended up in the kingdom of Asmorinthia.

There was the royal family of Asmorinthia. King Walter and Queen Amanda were very lucky to have three great kids: Princess Kathy and her older twin siblings, Amber and Gabe.

It was close to Kathy's 7th birthday, and Walter wanted to give her a special gift.

"What about this diamond necklace?" Amanda suggested.

"The color looks a little dull," Walter frowned. "She'd like something that'll stand out."

Suddenly, there was green flash of light. The king and queen turned and saw that the green glow was coming from the Amulet of Albuquerque. They'd heard that this Amulet can protect its bearer from harm.

When it was Kathy's birthday, Walter gave her the green Amulet, which went perfectly with her green dress.

For three years, Athena tested Kathy by granting her powers for every good deed and bestowing curses for every bad deed.

It had been years since the attack in Albuquerque. Kathy was still wearing the Amulet—and Athena felt like it was time.

Kathy was with her family when the Amulet started glowing and flashing very brightly. Her family was confused.

"Kathy, what's going on with your amulet?" Amber asked.

"I don't know—it's never done that before," Kathy gasped. Suddenly, she saw something strange on a painting that had been in the castle for a few years. "Hey, I didn't know that painting had writing on it."

On the painting read, "Cedric, Royal Wizard of Albuquerque".

This left the royals surprised, especially Kathy.

"Like the Amulet of Albuquerque?" Kathy asked.

Suddenly, there was a flash of light—and Cedric, the ex-royal wizard of Albuquerque, appeared.

"Exactly like the Amulet of Albuquerque," Cedric smiled. "At last, Kathy, the time has come."

"Hello, Mr. Cedric," Walter smiled. "But the time has come for what?"

"Something important," Cedric declared. "Ever since Kathy put on that Amulet, Princess Athena has been alerting me that Kathy could be the one. So I turned myself into a talking painting."

"Why did you do that?" Kathy asked.

"It's a long story," Cedric declared.

He explained that 53 years ago, Athena received the Amulet of Albuquerque for her 16th birthday. But a year later, Morgana invaded the kingdom. Athena bravely chose to face Morgana on her own, so her family would be spared. When Morgana tried to strike her down, the Amulet saved Athena by pulling her inside it.
