Ask The Niqabi

The question is:

why did you started wearing the niqab? did something push you to start?

Why... ok as i used to explain it, do you remember people playing around with you poking their tongue at you and so on when you were little? i mean in the streets or public places and whatever... because i do!

but later on with years passing, something changed,

and as a girl who loves to stare out the car's window reading markets's signs or just watching people passing or even gets lost in thoughts while doing so,

i can definitely tell that something started to change...

people -men at the most- aren't missing out with me and making faces as they used to do before anymore,

the way they look at me changed,

they rather started staring! and it was getting annoying...

until at some point i realized i'm no more a little child!

and this fierce stares started annoying me more and more every time

(even though i'm not that much beautiful)

and here where the idea of wearing niqab begun knocking my brain...

...and i may add that this was at around the age of 14*

I wore it around 15 and i fell in love with it and felt completely protected and free whenever i wear it :)

And now after wearing it for 5 years i've never regretted that alhamdulillah
