In the dream I feel full of love and happiness. The gentle swipe of a tongue on my stomach, and then ravishing my lips, parting and creating a string of saliva. Trembling with excitement I can't remember when I last felt so filled and I yearn for more with each gentle touch and caress.
" Ugh," Lucy groans as she hears her alarm clock. What an awful dream. The day is bright, filled with this elaborate sky of blue and the ground is covered in white fluffy piles of snow. Standing near the window, Lucy breathes on the glass, her breath creates a cloud air, clouding up the windy. Trailing one delicate finger she makes a daisy flower. The loose petals, then the stem, and the leaves, eventually having the petals fall down.
Her gown slips off her shoulder revealing her creamy shoulder, shivering at the contact of freshness on her warm skin, she rubs her shoulders as she heads to freshen up. After an hour of debate, and fighting with her hair she settles for just letting it be in a French braid. As she eats some toast with jam, she hears a knock at her door.
Maybe if I pretend I'm not here they'll just leave. The knocking becomes more erratic as two minutes go by. so much for hoping they would leave. Yawning, stuffing her face with the leftover piece of toast she walks to the door.
" Lucy," Trevor groans," Took you long enough to answer girl."
" Right, sure, nice to see you now Au revoir," Lucy sarcastically says, and starts to shut the door hard. He places a foot through the crack of the opening, barely making it.
" Ahh don't be so nice now, come on I brought mini dog of love, cheri," he smiles. Looking down at his feet, Lucy sees the fluffy white dog. Small with a rosy pink nose and shiny grey eyes, her tail wags back and forth as she pants.
" That's cheating." she says but let's them both in regardless. The dog trots behind the tall chocolate man, his brown eyes are nearly black but his choice of style makes them seem light against his white dress shirt, burgundy cardigan and black pants along with some beat up grey sneakers.
" So what's the word devil," Trevor ask as he sits down on her small white couch. The dog circles on the small carpet rug before settling near his foot. Lucy kneels down, petting the fluff ball, as it licks and squeals at her touch.
" Besides rising levels of water, more species becoming extinct then nothing and you man," lucy replies. Trevor gives a grim smile before his face becomes serious.
" Well I heard the most interesting piece of news. one that shouldn't have surprised me but well I guess in this day and age there are some things that still do. " he starts and then pauses," i heard a certain girl with blue hair was seen leaving a guys house, a rich guy's house. The house of someone's father. And i thought to myself well now that girl could've been anyone. Anyone."
" Yeah."
" And then they said,' I heard the girl had a tattoo on her neck, like in the shape of a shark or fish' and the only other person I know who has a shark on the side edged in between there neck and shoulder is no other than YOU!" he exclaims.
" Weird." Lucy eventually says. They don't make eye contact, but they can feel the tension. They had been childhood friends for forever, since she had been an orphan.
" Don't Bullshit me Lucy, come on you could've told me at least. What have you gotten yourself into man," he begs. his eyes are soft as he looks down at her.
She was wearing jeans and a black t-shirt and a grey sweater on top. Her shoes were some of her old ballet shoes. He rakes a hand through his curly longish boy hair. The feeling of keeping things to themselves was super unsettling to him. He loved Lucy like a sister and he could tell that something was up. he could see some hollow circles under her eyes. the way her body was shivering from the cold.
" You wanna hear this crap?" Lucy says looking at him. He nods, as she begins to talk.
" Fine fine. I met a guy at the bar place you took me a few weeks ago, and then we started talking he took me on some dates, and then one thing happened leading to another... and I slept with his dad is all." she rushes the last part.
" No, no you're not telling me everything," Tyler exclaims. He starts to the pace in the small apartment.
" Well I might've met his dad when I went with him to pick up something from the office," she says. Shrugging she remembers the memory.
" I'm sorry about this again' Nate said to Lucy again. She smiled as she popped her headphones in each of her ears, pulling the visor down to check on her piercings. She pulled the loop on her nose around, pull up her eyebrow hoop, rearrange the diamond stud on her earlobe and pulling back her hair. She waited patiently in his car, until boredom kicked in.
Stepping out into the fresh Autumn air, she heard the crunch of leaves beneath her lacy platform black shoes. She was wearing a pair of dark jeans and a red blouse.
Chewing on her blue gum she slipped past security in the big building, she then went through to the reception. The bouncy and kind looking blonde smiled a bit weirdly at Lucy as she came close to her desk. Relaxing, at the stiff looking blonde with smudged up lipstick she put her hands on the desk.
" Hi, I was wond-" before the broad cut her off.
" I'm sorry, your presence shouldn't have been allowed past the door, you need to leave," she rudely remarked. Smiling harder, Lucy nodded as she looked at the other secretary or person at the front desk.
" Hey you, you've been eyeing me pretty strange, do you know where um a guy by the last name of Devereax is inside this place," she told a young looking guy with jet black hair and green eyes. He blushed as she had singled him out.
" Um he's on the top floor miss," he whispered shyly.
" Thanks cutie,' she flirted before looking down at the blonde, ' just so you know, your lipstick os smudged and that was a pretty bitchy move."
Walking away, swaying her hips she went to the elevator, in the elevator she pushed the buttoned, and took off her eyebrow ring, buttoning up her blouse a bit and loosely. Her hair was a shade of grey at the time.
Once at the top floor, she looked for a person but just noticed the fanciness of the office. Might not be the right place, Lucy mused. Stepping toward the big grey door, she knocked and then entered. In a huge leather chair, sat a man who looked similar to Nate, but Nate was sitting on the other side of the desk.
His dark eyes captivated her, she slowly walked toward the desk, feeling trapped in the big office. Biting her lower lip, she blushed.
" Lucy, this is my father, dad this is Lucy," Nate introduced. Holding a hand out, Lucy reached out as well. His hand felt warm in her cold one. He then lifted her hand to kiss the top of her hand.
' Aren't you a lovely thing,' he smiled. Nate gleamed with happiness at his father's approval, but this meeting would later come to cause him great pain. Later on Lucy would see his father appearing more at the place she worked, or running into him at the gym she went to twice a week.
" That's so cute, weird but cute," Tyler said after hearing the story. Lucy shrugged, but got up from the couch to make them some tea. Tyler strokes the head of his fluffy dog, then gets up to look around.
" Was this always here?" he yells from another room. Shifting in the kitchen she looks out into the living room.
Over the array of succulents he touched the rough and soft edged plants. he notices one of the plants is slowly wilting at the bottom.
"Not always, but for awhile its been here."
"You need to do something about your situation, but no rush." he suggest as he hooks the collar back to the dog. Waving, and hesitating at the door he smiles before leaving the small apartment.
" If only it were as simply as the words one says." Lucy mumbles.
