I woke up and noticed that it was still dark. I glanced at the clock and I freaked out, why on earth do I woke up on 2 am? And my mom is gonna wake me up on 6 am for school. I quickly closed my eyes and sang me a lullaby. Okay, so that didn't work. So I walked around the house for 20 minutes so I'll get tired and fall asleep. And what did you know, I fell asleep on the floor. The next thing I knew is my mom freaking out while waking me up
" Sel, dearie! why the heck did you sleep on the cold floor? you will get sick there! that's why I bought you a bed to lay on right?" she was really freaking out
" alright, alright... I'm sorry..." I said, still feeling sleepy.
I felt sorry for mom cause she woke me up with fear in her eyes. And I felt guilty for not using my bed. So afterwards, I took a bath and then I put my orange t- shirt that has abstrac design on it, and my white leggings and some orange boots to match up my clothes and then I sprayed some lavender perfume . I don't feel like letting my hair down so instead I tied them up. I rushed downstairs to have a breakfast. Yey! Cap'n Rush cereal, my all time favorite.
While having a romantic moment with my favorite cereal, someone sent me a message for the first time it was Hayden. He said that he want me to wait for him outside his house. Okay, so I brushed my teeth, got my things and I kissed my mom goodbye. Alrighty, need 6 steps to go to Hayden's house. He made me wait for 30 minutes, nice move. All of a sudden a heard a loud " good bye mom!" and then he magically appeared in front of me.
" what took you so long?" I said making him realize that he made me wait that long.
" I'm sorry I woke up late. Thanks for waiting for 30 minutes. Anyways, that's what friends are for." he teased
We arrived at school, not late this time. I went to my messy locker then we went straight ahead to the classroom. Tuesday today, I cant wait till Saturday. A minute later Bernice came, look at that hot chick. Hayden's eyes were following her, it kinda bother me.
" hey, snap out of it!" I searched a ballpen in my bag
" isnt she damn hot?" he asked me and I was like, what the?
" you can never find a girl as hot as that. I mean, all boys like her" he sighed.
" I cant blame you, she's freaking hot, unlike me who has no curve at all. And I'm effing flat chested, it sorta piss me off"' I said. That made Hayden laugh cause all I said was true.
" yeah, you're just thin." he continued his laugh. I smiled and continued searching for a ballpen.
The class started. I cant help looking at Bernice applying a random make up at her face, it was just funny.
" hey, why are you smiling" Hayden looked at the same direction as mine
" nah, nothing." I smiled. He can tell that I was laughing at Bernice so he jerked my funny bone.
" what was that for?" I rubbed my funny bone
" what the hell do you think was that for?" . Pshh so overprotective, for a crush. " you know what, I must admit you're a really different girl." he suprisingly said
" woah, what mades you say that?" I asked messing up my long bangs.
" its not that I like you, you're just really tough and different. To tell you the truth I've never heard you being inlove before." . Wow, a true friend really knows you but they're not stalkers. But Hayden is a childhood friend of mine, I forgot to say that. So of course he knew all about me.
Lunch... I just hope one day my life will change sometime. Its always wake up, go to school, sleep , be bored at house and then sleep again for the next day. And then a saw a guy running and then he slipped.
We both laughed. " Man, that was so epic!" I gigled.
" hey, dont be so mean, lets help the guy out." he said trying not to laugh. We were about to help him but he stood up
" ......i'm sorry that was embarassing" the guy said.
" hey I know you, you were Jun's friend!" Hayden exclaimed.
" hey you're right, I'm Mark you must be Hayden"
" what happend to Jun? I dont saw him in school for 6 days"
" well, he got this terrible fever and he said he's gonna go to school next week." he glanced at his watch.
" oh okay, so I'll see you then." They both waived goodbye. I looked at Hayden so he looked back
" who is Jun?'' I asked curiosly.
" you dont know him"
" that's why I'm asking you, right?" I clarified. Sheesh, what a wasted person.
" He is a very good friend of mine at our club. And he is very popular. It's just because of his charming looks but he is a nice person." he finished.
" he is popular? how come I dont even know him?" I wondered. Hayden sighed and smiled, having enough of my questions. Okay so I shut up for the rest of the lunch time.
Back to the classroom, I felt sleepy.... again. Its just that whenever its summer, I'm used at sleeping at a time like this. I sleep a lot, but I never grew tall. How wierd is that? Time sure goes slowly when you're not enjoying. And since I'm bored, I kept on thingking about random crap and I'm not even listening to the teacher. I looked at hands, its so small and pale. I think I'm magnourish or something in other words I'm not healthy.
" Sel, you look like you're not okay." he looked at me worriedly .
" what do you mean?" I suddenly felt weak and cold. And then my eyelids got heavier, its not a usual feeling at all.
" dont worry 10 minutes more, we'll be going home." . I dont get him at all, why is he treating me like that?
When we walked home, my head is heavy so I keep it down. I wanna talk, but I'm not in the mood and I bet Hayden understand that.
" I'm gonna talk to your mother" he said. I just looked at him, I dont know what's going on.
When I got home, I threw myself at the bed. I hate the feeling of being very weak. Its like I'm not in the mood for everything. I crawled to my window and I heard the conversation between mom and Hayden
" Mam, I think Sel has a fever. I mean, she looks very pale than her usual color. She almost fainted after lunch at the classroom" he said. Really? I didnt know that I almost fainted after lunch. I was about to crawl back to my bed but suddenly everything went blank. What's wrong with me?
I woke up on my bed, with a medicine beside me. its still 8:00 pm. " dearie.... you okay?" my mom entered my room. I nodded my head, I dont feel like talking.
" you have a fever, Hayden explained it all to me. And you fainted two times this day young lady." she said. So I fainted when I was crawling back to my bed... so that makes sense. " it mustbe the effect for sleeping on the cold floor" she gave me amedecine. Its really odd how I get a fever easily. I mean some people slept on a cold floor but they never get sick. I hate being unhealthy.
" you must rest dear. You can be absent tomorrow. Get well sweetheart." she kissed me on the forehead and I smiled at her, even thou I was wasted. She left my room and I lay uncomfortably at my bed. Damn it. Its the 6th time I got sick in this year.
I hope I'll get better tomorrow....
