Chapter 4

Haven's POV:

All I could hear was a distant voice, but couldn't make out what it was saying.

In the mean time, I was having a horrible dream. It was about my mom not making it, & then she died. And I never got a chance to say goodbye. It was horrible!!!!

Finally I could hear a voice saying, 'Haven, sweetie wake up. C'mon, wake up.' 'I think she's waking up!' 'Oh good, Haven hunny, you awake?'

*************All I could see were little fuzzy dots, then they turned into faces, and then they grew bodies, & whoa. Overwhelming group of people huddled around me.*****************

"Whoa-zers. Who are all these people?"

"Don't worry, we're just nurses to help you out, do you need anything?" Asked a really kind woman.

"No, no thanks , I think I'm good for now. Thank you though." I said as I smiled.

I wonder where Lauren is...

But then I heard her voice outside the door. Her & some guy were having a conversation with the nurse, but I couldn't make out who the guy was. I hope he's not cute, cause I probably look terrible.

And what do ya know? He's adorably handsome. Like whoaaaa.

"oh good!! You're awake! Thank god!! I was worried so bad!!" Lauren said as she ran and gave me a hug.

"Hey there," I smiled.

"How you feeling?" She asked.

"Pretty good, just a lil groggy,"

"Yah I suppose, you were knocked out pretty good," the boy stated. "Glad you're okay though." Then he smiled.

I think I've gone crazy, and started having illusions. Cause I've never seen anyone so handsome in my life. Whoa there turtles.

"Yah, me too." I replied & started smiling again.

"I'm gunna talk to her for a few, if that ok." Asked the boy who was standing in the door.

"Oh yep, sounds good. Catch ya later Haven." And he smiled.

"Alright, bye!" I yelled out the door. "So tell me! Who is that dude?"

Lauren looked at me like 'Duh! You should know this!' But then started talking, "That's Cameron Dallas. He practically saved your lil life. You could've stopped breathing & died. But you didn't, cause he came & propped your head up." "I was scared to death!!!"

"Cameron Dallas huh...sounds familiar..If I knew he saved me I coulda said thanks, you know for SAVING MY LIFE! But you didn't say anything. I'll have to catch up with him later."

"Um no you won't. You're not going anywhere for a few days. The nurses think it could be something serious, so they're gunna put you with a real doctor to see what's going on." "Sorry girlie, but you can't see him for a few days." Lauren poured out the exhausting news.

"What if he leaves!?"

"He won't. He's staying for a couple weeks, & he won't leave. especially because of you." Said my bestfriend.

"Okay." I said smiling.

"I think you should get some sleep" said Lauren.

"But I'm hungry!!! I need some food, or I'm not gunna be very cooperative."

Lauren laughed, "Oh you & your food. Alright I'll tell the nurse to get some food." She smiled, gave me a hug, then left to go tell the nurse.
