Chapter 12

Haven's POV:

I slept the rest of the way there, waking up to Cam screaming, trying to sing but failing. "La-la-la-la-dee-da-da, on the sterie-erie-erie-erie-oh!" Fergie. He was listening to Fergie. Oh my lord, someone please help me. THIS IS INTERRUPTING MY BEAUTY SLEEP!!

"Cam!" I said playfully to Cameron.

"What? Don't tell me you don't like my singing! I'm irresistibly a pro at this." Cam said with a smile looking at me.

I laughed, "You just keep telling yourself that." I smiled.

"I will." Cam said proudly as he kept driving.

*Cranks up the volume* "I stayed up till 5, last night, just to say I missed ya babe..." I sang to the radio. "Radio-whoa whoa. Radio whoa whoa" It was the song Radio by HCR, and cam joined in with me. I felt so happy, and I have noooo idea why. He makes me happy. Like no other.

"To be honest, you have an AMAZING voice. I think we'd make a great duo."

"Really? I guess I've never really thought about singing. Thank you Cam-oh"

"Anytime" He said.

It was the perfect moment.

"You know you can tell me anything. I mean I hope you do, cause I know I can talk to you. I wanna be here for you when you need me." Cameron said.

"Thank you so much Cam. This means a lot to me!" I think I was blushing.

Well how I said it was the perfect moment, a little bit ago? well I was wrong. THIS was absolutely meaningful and perfect to me.

"You mean a lot to me," He slowed down and pulled over. Since we aren't officially together yet, I couldn't say I love you, but I wanted to!

Cam got out of the truck, and walked over to my door. He opened it, and gave me my phone. "I have a plan."

At this moment I got worried. hopefully we don't get mugged or something.

"Ok we are going to walk separate ways in the trees and stop, spin 3 times, and snapchat me when you do that. Don't question it, just do, for me please." Cam said irresistibly with that smile of his.  

"Are you crazy?!? but okay I will do it."

"well I'm not sane, haha okay," He chuckled, "ready! Set! GO!!!!!!" We dashed off in different directions in the woods. I stopped running when I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around and it was Cam running right behind me. He tackled me, and was currently squishing me just a little.

"You scared me! why'd you run after me? I thought we were going opposite directions!" I asked Cam.

"Because, I realized if I let you go, you might never come back, and no one would be dumb enough to leave you behind. I'm never letting you go." Cam explained. "You're mine. and I'm not sharing." He was propping himself over me, and started to lean in....for a kiss. "I love you Haven, and I always will."

"I love you Cameron. I knew you were the one from the first glance." I replied.

"I suppose we should get back to the truck. huh?"

"Wait, no.. Can we just lay here for a couple more minutes?" I asked Cam.

"Of course!" Cam smiled and moved to lay next to me.

Our hands intertwined, my cheek on his chest, his lips on my forehead. He whispered, "Every things gunna be alright, you're with me. Nothings gunna hurt you." Then he kissed my forehead, and we eventually fell asleep.
