It was about 7:30 at night and me and Gerard were just relaxing and watching scary movies even though he knows I'm terrified of them. He picked an old classic of course the Exorcist. He knew I was getting scared by the way I was flinching so he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me close to his chest.
I felt so safe with him whenever we cuddled like this. He kissed me on my forehead and told me that there was nothing to be afraid of, that no one would ever hurt me and that he would always protect me no matter what. I felt my cheek get hot and red and butterflies in my stomach. After the movie ended we decide to just sleep it off on the couch. As I'm closing my eyes and about to go to sleep I can hear Gerard softly whispering in my ear. "I love you baby girl.
" I promise I won't let anything or anyone hurt you." And with that said I fell right asleep in his cradled in his arms.
