Ok so tonight I'm supposed to be having dinner with one of my close friends Chad. We met cause our parents worked together and he was really sweet and all but just wasn't my type. My boyfriend Gerard has met him before and I could tell from the first time they met, Gerard hated him. Every time I would even mention his name he would always get upset like a little 5 year old or start to cringe. I don't even understand why he hates him so much he's a really nice guy and I'm glad me and Chad are just friends. I just wish Gerard could see that.
"Okay babe I'll be back by 9:00."
"Y/N where are you going?"
"I'm going to have dinner with Chad tonight with his parents,he invited me to go and plus I haven't seen him in a while I just wanted to catch up."
"No fucking way!" "That guy's an asshole I don't want you to go." Gerard said.
"Okay what is your problem Gerard?"
"Why do you hate Chad so much, I mean c'mon all you've ever done is complain about him and call him an asshole. "Baby tell me what's wrong."
"No just forget it. Go have fun on your little date with Chad."
With that said Gerard went upstairs to our room and slammed the door behind him. So I decide to forget what just happened and leave to go see Chad and his parents.
*Skip the drive to the restaurant*
I walk into the restaurant only to be greeted by Chad's Parents; Mellisa and James Robertson. "Hello Y/N it's so good to see you. How have you been?" Said Chad's mother
"I'm fine thank you." "Um where's Chad?"
"Right here." Chad said.
"Oh hi it's good to see you." How are you?" "I'm good. It's great to see you." He said.
*skip dinner*
"Well this was great seeing you again Y/N and hopefully we can keep in touch soon." Said Mrs. Robertson
"That would be great. I would really like that." "Goodnight."
"Hey Y/N wait up." Chad yell for you as you were making your way to your car.
"Hey Y/N I had a really really good time catching up with you. Ya know if that Boyfriend of yours doesn't work out you can always give me a call and maybe get dinner."
"Are you being fucking serious right now?!" Chad it's about time you get the fucking hint I know you've had a crush on me since forever but you're not my type!" "And for the record I'm happy with Gerard!"
*skip to drive back home*
"Gerard I'm home!" "Gerard where are you?" I yelled out to him in the house.
"I'm in here babe." I could hear coming from upstairs in our bedroom.
I went upstairs and opened the door to see a candle lit room with rose pedals spread all over the floor. Then I saw Gerard sitting on the bed waiting for me to speak, but no words could come out it was all so beautiful.
"Y-you did all of this for me?" "Why?"
"Because I felt bad that I lashed out at you for going to see Chad. I love you Y/N." He kissed my cheek. And have me a hug. God I have such a great boyfriend.
"Love you too Gee, You were right about Chad anyways he is an asshole." "God I don't why I was ever friends with him."
"Ha, god I love you, and I'm glad to have you as my girlfriend.
