Chapter 1

"Sonic. The. Hedgehog!!" A furious egg shaped man scream from above, flying through the sky with his Eggmobel, with his newest invention far ahead of him...tumbling and breaking down bit by bit. The well known hero, Sonic the hedgehog, was the one responsible for Eggman's newest invention to break down. "Wow!" The blue hedgehog exclaimed while he was running,with the new invention close behind him. "You sure know how to keep me entertained!" He said as he turned around,running backwards as he examine the invention quickly, looking for a blind spot.

The invention was tall, perhaps more on the large side. With an octopus like appearance with eight robotic tentacles lifting and slamming the blue hedgehog or at least tried. When the robot lifted one of his robotic tentacles, it was then when he took the opportunity. He stopped running,turned into a little blue ball and dashed towards the open blind spot and spindashed right through the invention. The robotic octopus let out a screeching roar as it collapsed onto the green grass. Statics and electrical sparks flying everywhere.

By the time Eggman arrived at the scene, the blue hedgehog was calmly waiting for him, sniffing some flowers that grew in the grass. He was wanting to give him a piece of his mind, like usual. "I must say, Eggman." Sonic suddenly started, dropping the little white flower and looked from the robot, over to him. "This was rather quite the invention. It almost like...hit me twice?" He said as he looked down at his fingers,trying to count how many times it actually did try to hit him. Of course, Eggman wasn't pleased at all with this criticism. Hate boiled inside of him. He made both hands into tight fists and tried his best to keep his cool because he had another trick up his sleeves. "Is...that so?" He asked slowly, not sounding to happy, like usual. He slowly leaned forward and grinned at Sonic. Sonic looked up and nodded. "Yeah. But I got to go,Eggman. I got some things to do today and I promised Tails I will take him to buy some parts for his latest invention. He is waiting probably for me." He said as his attention quickly shifted away from both Eggman and the robot. He turned around, lifted a hand in the air to wave goodbye to his enemy. In those few milliseconds, Eggmans grin turned into a smirk. He slowly pressed a button on the keyboard of his Eggmobel.

Then. It happened. The octopus lifted its static and broken like tentacle and slam into towards Sonic. This caught the hedgehog off guard as he quickly turned around and dodged,nearly losing his balance. By the time he got his balance back, another tentacle lifted itself and slam Sonic, causing him to fly across the sky and tumble into the soft grass, meters ahead of the robot. He groaned and let out a huff. He quickly shifted his attention to the robot but was caught off guard once again when he saw the robot...was gone. He frown and immediately got onto his feet.

"Over here!" A familiar tone called out from above. Sonic blinked and looked up quickly, causing a small cage to drop from above and landing over Sonic, silently. "Hohoho!" Eggman laughed as he was overjoyed. His plan to capture Sonic the hedgehog worked, for once in his life.

Sonic remained on edge as he looked around,noticing the robot was still gone... He was about to confront Eggman but as he touched the metal bars of the cage,it shocked him. He quickly yanked his hands away and sighed heavily. The cage immediately connected with Eggman's Eggmobel and he quickly took off,over to his lair.

"This is going to be the longest day, ever." Sonic thought to himself.
